I don't think so. They need him for ratings but at the same time they are all left wing so if they help put him in office it's not logical they have the power or the smarts to take him out.

The only way they can take him out will be to lie about him or keep him off the air.

They won't keep him off the air since they need the ratings and they are already lying about him and it doesn't work.I don't see the pathway for the media to get rid of him.

The hard left is getting desperate. There is now a move to legitimize illegals to vote through motor voting.Loretta Lynch is behind it along with the usual aclu types.They are getting traction.

I don't think the media needs to lie about Trump to take him out. They simply need to tell the truth. Trump has come down on both sides of many issues: taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood, "expedited" return of illegals (Rubio haters call that amnesty), Bush lied, Opposition to Iraq war, depression level tariffs, supporting liberal Democrats, etc. Look how Chuck Todd gave him a pass on his Iraq war position, just yesterday.

Once the press turns they will hit him hard, and he doesn't respond well to that. Yelling "liar, liar" doesn't look well on the international scene.

Then why don't they tell the truth instead of lying about Trump?

That where the problem is. You listen to “Conservative” media like Red State, Town Hall, NR, Weekly Standard etc and believe every word they tell you about Trump. Trump supporters listen to him, then read what the “Conservative Media” says Trump said and go “hang on a minute, that not true at all”.

The Conservative Jour-0-listers busy trying to smear Trump need to take heed. Lying to your audience is remembered for years after a campaign season ends. Some people in “Conservative Media” are betting their whole careers on stopping Trump at any cost. That is a very foolish move.

So now “Principled Conservatism” means letting your emotions over come your reason.

Sorry wasn’t interested when the Left tried to substitute emotion and volume for thought. Certainly am not going to buy those tactics when “Conservatives” attempt to use them.

Maybe but I doubt it.This is not a gotcha type of election. People are tired of the elected officials we have on both sides of the aisle. They want someone who has been completely out of politics and the Donald is as close as they will get.

So, is it in the Art of the Deal to first piss on your opponents, and then when you win to praise them for loosing? No wonder The Donald does not go to Church, he would need to be in the confessional every week asking for forgiveness for the same sins.

I think his remarks showed the same kind of class he showed when he waited with Ben Carson. The other guy is in a difficult situation and you give him a bit of cover. Now that Jeb! is gone I'll give him a fig leaf to hide his naked incompetence too!

It's also about building bridges to folks who supported Jeb! and to the party people so they understand that after the fire fight he is going to be someone that will be dogged in the process of getting where he has committed to being (A Wall, Immigration Reform, Strong Military, Trade Deals that benefit the US, No Obamacare-free market system w/ saftey net, care for Vets etc) but that he will not go scorched earth on them as long as they come along.

I’m personally pretty safe, best I can tell. It’s not about me. But is it not possible to oppose politicians or activists because they act outrageously and/or bully people? You and I might agree that many of the “Black Lives Matter” activists act rudely, ignorantly, outrageously, etc., yeah?
