I have no respect for a man who is a sports star then turns draft dodger or a liar covering for his cowardice.

I wouldn’t mind giving the guy a pop myself. :-)

Right, like I said, he only went “SEMI-Tuco” on the guy. LOL

You also win accolades for even knowing who Tuco was. I was wondering if anyone would get it. Great Minds my FRiend.

One of the best Westerns ever, but I can never get my fill of Tombstone and The Outlaw Josie Wales.

I am sorry but your 'winery' story of so called, bad ethics, holds no candle to that character calling himself 'holy father' going to Mexican/US border holding a mass and demanding US to remove our border.

One at a time in the Confessional, please. We aren't talking about the Pope here, just a robber Baron.

Oh, I forgot Trump does not drink...

So it was either to 'get even with someone' or just about the money/prestige?

Whatever his motivation, it wasn't the wine, maybe the awards it had won.

Doesn't someone who would take people's land and livelihood from them trip a flag with you? Have you been following the BLM land grab issue at all?

There will be a host of lawyers watching his every move, twitter, email, and phone call... making sure Trump is totally divested of his financial interests. Not many would put themselves in that position.

Trump will be a po'boy? He won' have nuffin?

You seriously don't believe that will go beyond what is required by law, do you? Do you believe he will walk away from his fortune to never recoup it? It's temporary, and in the meantime, he won't have to buy fuel for helos or the company jet--we do that. It was only Mrs. Perot who was concerned about moving into a rougher neighborhood. I'll believe that when I believe the Clinton Foundation is just there to heal the sick, feed the hungry, and make sure cute little kitties have warm and safe homes.

Trump may be snarling and kind of rabid...

You either are or you aren't.

Would you let the kids play with a 'kind of rabid' animal?

Considering how fabulous his children turned out, yes I would let Trump babysit my child. May be he'd read the book he read to his own grandchild, “Winners Aren't Losers”.

If it was your guy saying what Trump said...

We probably wouldn't be supporting him, either.

You have fallen for the cult of personality. You are not looking at the actions past, present, or implied for the future of your candidate.

We hear "his wife worked for", "he got a loan from", "someone in his campaign tweeted" about Cruz, but when Trump (himself) does something arguably wrong, he gets a pass and virulently defended.

Your allegedly Conservative standards just don't flange up with what is going on. You're acting like liberals.

His ego would not permit him to let down the American people.

His ego will not permit him to lose.

He is his own special interest, so if it is his idea or he wants it, he will get it or take it. That means the rules just won't apply if he can get away with it.

Now, put the full force and power of the United States' Government behind an ego like that.

What could possibly go wrong?

If you can’t get behind a candidate pushing a wall, the 2nd, vet care, fair trade, and striking down Roe, I don’t need any of what you’re smokin, joe.

That you’re able to get so far inside your own echo chamber that you can’t see how silly your complaints look in the big picture sense, give me great comfort.

I'm a geologist. DO you have ANY concept of what constructing a "Wall" would take? Just from an engineering standpoint? I really doubt anyone here has given that a thought.

On the second, Trump has said he'd support an Assault weapons ban. That happens again, it's time to use 'em.

Vet care. Who isn't for it?

fair trade. Lovely, but with the EPA (TRUMP said he'd keep it in Iowa), we won't have much to export. That's killed manufacturing, construction, and energy jobs in America, more than anything else.

Striking down Roe? He isn't the Court. He can't, within presidential powers under the Constitution do so. That has to be done by Congressional Action, likely a Constitutional Amendment. His personal position on Abortion has been fluid over the years.

Cruz has been, with the exception of the greatest engineering project since the Great Wall of China, been perfectly Conservative on these issues for years, not a recipient of a sudden epiphany in close proximity to an election year.

I don't smoke, so spare me that sh*t. The nickname dates back to when I was a firefighter. Keep your slur.

What the hell does a geologist know about wall building? lol.

I'm a civil engineer in the heavy construction industry, and if the job comes out, I'll be one of the guys bidding the job. It's certainly doable. I've worked on a lot harder, more complex and challenging projects in the past.

You’ve never know someone who was a good athlete but wasn’t qualified to join the military for some medical exclusion? That was very nearly me because my blood pressure was low. There’s lots of reason for exclusion. Some are silly. But Trump didn’t make the rules.

I could say the very same thing about Cruz supporters.

Hey, none of my business who you vote for but I will vote for Trump in the primary because I trust him more than the lying Cruz. What you see is what you get with Trump. Cruz is hiding something - HIS birth certificate for one! The Canadian one will not work. The man lies because he knows he is not NBC. Without an American birth certificate you are not a NBC but could be and probably is a naturalized citizen based on his mother’s birth certificate. PERIOD.

If by some miracle Cruz gets the nomination, I will put the NBC issue aside and vote for him, while holding my nose though. The absolute worse Republican is ten times better than the best Democrat. (I’m being sarcastic with the word best because all dems suck.)

Lol your own self. We know substrates, rock types, fault lines, drainage basins, karst. The rocks you are going to build on are of many types and widely varied, along with the terrain, Mr. Civil Engineer. This isn't some city block, it is a border hundreds of miles long. If you build your wall without concern for what you're building it on, it will fail.

All I was commenting on was that at his prime he wasn't fit enough to serve, but in his late 60s he's going to go beat people up?

Seems a mite odd to me.

As a civil engineer, with the majority of my time in geotechnical construction, I've never had to consult a geologist. I have right next to me right now a geotechnical report for a 2.8 billion dollar project I am working on. Let me consult the list of report writers and se f there are any geologists. Nope. No geologists.

We're not looking for cute little fossils and cute stories from "rocks for jocks" majors, we're building stuff here, engineering and all, not worried about how cute the rocks are. And no, I don't have to give a damn about how old the rocks are where I'm putting in my foundations, either, or where they came from. None of that gaiety geologists paly with themselves over have a damn thing to do with wall building.

If I want a story about why the rocks at the top of one mountain are rounded and jagged on another, I'll have a beer with a geologist. If I want a geotechnical report for foundation construction, I'll talk to an engineer. They know way more important stuff than some dumb rock knocker.
