Bill Gates: 'We need an energy miracle' to prevent catastrophic climate change

Bill Gates thinks it may take a miracle to find the kind of cheap, clean energy source needed to safely power the planet through the next century. But he believes governments and businesses aren't doing nearly enough to discover one.

In a letter issued by his foundation on Tuesday, the billionaire philanthropist repeated his plea for a financial call to arms in energy research, saying massive investments are needed to find and develop new technology that can fuel the world's economy without poisoning its inhabitants.

"The challenge we face is big, perhaps bigger than many people imagine. But so is the opportunity," Gates writes. "If the world can find a source of cheap, clean energy, it will do more than halt climate change. It will transform the lives of millions of the poorest families."

Billionaire Bill sure can give the rest of us tax drones a lot of advice. He has more money than he can ever spend, so he has to worry about something else and actually believes the global warming bunk. Millions of us trust That God, Who created all things, will preserve His creation as He has promised, but Bill puts his faith in government to save the earth. These governments can’t run anything right and are awash in corruption. Bill is really stupid.

There is nothing more tragic or dangerous that a liberal billionaire championing his “cause” of the day. So, Bill Gates, first it was Global Warming and now it's morphed into “climate change”. Gee, what changed? The weather changes from day to day, hour by hour, and you just figured it out? If there is a way to fix it, I tell you what, you use your computer models and predict the daily weather at a place of my choice, for three weeks straight — highs, lows, kind of day (sunny, overcast, rain, snow, sleet, fog, etc.) with 100% accuracy -- and I will believe you. It has to be 100% for three weeks; anything less is Bravo Sierra. If you're less that 100% for three weeks, how can you predict the climate 100 YEARS into the future? You can't even do that into the past. What a dumbo liberal. Billions in cash does not equal brains or cognitive ability.

No, when the Left says they want clean energy what they really mean is that they want the government to have a hammer-lock control over all energy so that liberals can then create "policy" as to who deserves to get energy and who doesn't. Those who vote for Democrats get subsidized fuel, those who don't vote for them won't. We already see part of this unfolding with Liberal's desire to tax people based upon the number of miles they travel per year.

With Liberals it's all about gaining control, whether its healthcare or anything else, once they get control they can then set the rules as to who gets favored access and who gets punished with no access.

That is the end-game of the left, be it with energy, healthcare, water or food:

To have political opponents pay for the resources that those in power “give” to their political supporters,
while simultaneously making the resource unavailable to those who are paying for it.
