As I and others have pointed out repeatedly, the “bilked muzzles” angle is why this story is being reported in the media, but it’s not the real story here. The real story is that the guy was selling a less-expensive product (pork) and falsely claiming that it was a more expensive product (beef). He was scamming people, period. So, yes, I would support jail for a scam artist, sure.
I’d like to think he’ll be treated a hero for 6 months in some Swiss prison!
A ‘reformed cannibal’ stops at a tavern and orders a pork dish. After the first bite, he leaps to his feet declaring “Not pork! Not pork! I know what this is”. The disappearance of travelers was thus solved based on this turn of events.
Whom do you suppose tipped off Swiss butcher’s clientele about their dining experience?
Soooo, the logic of eating pork is creating lowliness of character & morality? What islamic foods create an islamic honor killer or islamic suicide bomber? I want to avoid that diet!
