Chris Christie Endorses Donald Trump
The New York Times ^ | February 25, 2016 | Staff

Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey endorsed Donald J. Trump on Friday, a major turn in a wild race and one that gives the New York businessman a major boost as he heads into the pivotal Super Tuesday contests.

Mr. Christie was a candidate himself until he came in sixth place in New Hampshire’s primary. But his backing of Mr. Trump comes after weeks of him saying that it was time for the “entertainment” portion of the race to end, and as he had said that the type of executive leadership that a governor has is important.

I think Christie is a self serving tub of lard and I LOVE the endorsement. Go Trump!

Christie was a legitimate anti corruption U.S. Attorney.

This is good news! Hopefully Christie can help be a surrogate for Trump to tear into Cruz and Rubio.

I bet bubble-boy Marco is wetting his g-strings right now....

No way. Trump is leading in the South because he’s a fighter and Christie is a fighter! Hell of an endorsement. Might be his VP.

As AG he would be going after the crook Hillary, right? Could be a very interesting situation.

I don't know about "Trumpers", but I've always liked CC's style.

Obviously (I think) you can't have a NY-NJ ticket - but Christie earned himself a good job, maybe even a Federal judgeship, when he took #rubot apart right before NH.

except that here in Jersey, Christie is so reviled after his smooch with Obama and for his abandoning the post Sandy recovery to piles of red tape while he ran for president that he could not get elected dog catcher were he to run for public office again.

Funny stuff. Saying that Marco is more preferable than Trump is not an endorsement of either.

But hey, your boy says out loud he wants Universal health care, then says he doesn't, then says he does but not in the same way as Canada, then says he doesn't, then says he won't let people die in the streets while saying the gov’t will pay for it.....and the zombies talk about Cruz lying.

Nah... he wants AG

My best guess, also.

Christie is also far from squeaky-clean (although he's a Saint by New Jersey Democrat ethical standards) so there are many better VP choices.

That’s the plan. Bet on it.

Krispy made his bones with The Donald when he hacked into marcobot’s operating system.

Now chubby fatass is gonna make the gay Cuban wish he stayed at the foam parties.

Just the fact that Christie was elected twice in New Jersey is unbelievable.
But then again, after Corzine and McGreevey maybe it’s not saying too much

Do you honestly believe endorsement help/harm candidates?

If endorsements were so persuasive, why certain groups could endorse a candidate just for the purpose of destroying them, no?
