One of the most amazing abilities Donald Trump has is being able to lie about his own record and get away with it. In an exchange with Sen. Ted Cruz during Thursday’s CNN debate in Houston, Trump was directly challenged on his past documented support for single-payer universal health care, and he lied again. Single payer is different than Universal.
Universal HC means that everyone has access to affordable healthcare, by one means or another. The disabled are cared for. People with PECs have an opportunity for healthcare. Those who can pay for affordable insurance do.
Single-payer HC is a one-sized-fits-all socialist scheme that doesn’t work.
Most people agree with UHC. We don’t want grandma dying for lack of care. Most people understand that SPHC is a disaster everywhere it’s been tried.
Yes. Trump is for UHC. And so am I. And so are most Americans. All that means is that there’s affordable access to healthcare for everyone.
Trump is not, and never has been, for SPHC. He’s stated this over and over again.

What kind of health care does Trump’s foreign visa workers get? Do they have us subsidizing their captive labor health care through obamacare? You can put an end to foreign captive labor right now if you require their employers to pay the complete health care bills of their captive foreign laborers. The plantation owners 160 years ago had to provide for the health care of their captive foreign laborers.
Ted’s (Pinocchio) nose has probably gotten so long & heavy it caused the ship to tip over.
In 1991, at the end of Desert Storm, a 19 yr old US Army Cavalry Scout Private who had just spent 8 months at war sat out on a street at Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia. He sat there on his duffle bag with his Battalion around him for 4 days waiting for the buses to come and take him to the King Fahad Airport so he could go home. Unfortunately, the politicians of the day never planned for how to bring so many soldiers home after the war ended so there was a shortage of planes. Politicians are great at talking, but terrible at doing. Finally, the buses came, and took the young man to the airport. The planes waiting were from Tower Air. The owner of Tower Air had volunteered his planes and staff to bring soldiers home for the cost of fuel only. Happily, the young veteran got home just in time for Easter weekend in 1991, and spent that time emotionally healing with friends and family surrounding him. That Private was me. The Airline owner – Donald J Trump. That is why I will vote Trump. Loyalty for loyalty, respect for respect. Any questions?
