(Vanity) A Simple Question For The GOPe
Vanity

Posted on 02/27/2016 8:43:13 PM PST by Williams

The GOP always claims it can't do anything without controlling the presidency. But now McConell and the GOPe leadership are planning to run against their own presidential candidate if it's Trump.

So how will they have any credibility that they plan to achieve anything if they are accepting the election of Hillary Clinton?

It seems to me if they don't want the presidency there will be no reason for the republican base to reelect them in Congress, and they will be finished.

It's tragic these idiots would rather run against their own nominee than the democrat.

They’re doing everything they can to lose the Senate.

And it started long before Trump ever came on the scene

Don’t believe everything you read in the NY Times.

McConnell will need Trump voters to keep his majority in congress. Rubio voters sure as hell won’t be enough.

That’s a good question. Not holding breath for an answer.

Remember the old westerns when where the evil cattle rancher wasn’t satisfied to own 75% of the land and 90% of the businesses in town?

That’s the GOPe and it’s fellow travelers.

Trump is the guy in the white hat.

The guy in the white hat committed a crime in his past, but he’s cleaned up his act and the locals trust him.

I’m with the guy in the white hat.

I haven’t been perfect either.

“But now McConell and the GOPe leadership are planning to run against their own presidential candidate if it’s Trump. “

This is little more than innuendo and speculation. The little that has LEGITIMATELY leaked out has said they won’t be doing that:

Naturally, if they did, it would be the end of the GOP.

I’m through with GOP games. With Bush for several years we had the Senate, the Congress, the Presidency, and a 5 to 4 court that varied by issue.

And we got nothing.

Hmmm...I never thought to make the connection, but I just watched “The Life And Times Of Judge Roy Bean”

I like the way he hanged the baddies and left them hanging in the street for all to see.

McConnell is like that little wimpy deputy that does everything the corrupt Sheriff tells him to do. He needs several strong, upright townsmen to kick his butt out of town.

It would be the end of the GOP.

No. It would be the end of the GOP that cowers in the corner rather than be thought "racist" for opposing the "first black president" or "sexist" for opposing the "first woman president."

Good riddance to THAT GOP. Love him or hate him, Trump is blowing those guys out of the water.

Yes he does.

It would serve him right if hie fellow Republicans in the Senate took away his leadership now.

A Constitutional Conservative might want to get involved.

As if...
