I know you don’t care, but that actually isn’t true. At least two polls were done recently that tested second choices for other candidates and Trump wins going away if you get rid of the other candidates.

The whole idea that you can just add the other candidates’ totals together and beat Trump is an establishment fantasy.

Watching Cruz give his speech tonight, reminded me why I’m so glad Trump is trouncing him. He sounds bitter, nasty, and totally uninspiring. And I don’t buy for one minute the argument that it’s Glenn Beck’s fault and those he surrounds himself with. No, it’s Ted Cruz. And thankfully, he will never be the nominee, because I honestly don’t know if I could vote for him if he was.

Can’t tell who i like less, Cruz or Rubio

Me either. The little bit of respect I had left for Cruz is now gone. I would NEVER vote for him or his pal Rubio.

You can always get to a particular post by substituting it at the end of the url. I wore my fingers out backtracking before I realized that.

Cruz doesn’t have the personality to run a general election. He throws out red meat for his niche and he has no chance to take on Hillary.

WOW, even Rachael Maddow on MSNBC says that if the Republican Establishment continues to fight against their front runner, Trump, they will be left without a party.

Even liberal hacks are disgusted by how brazen and in your face the Rino Establishment is about denying front runner Trump his eventual Republican nomination.

It is almost as if they are saying, look we did not want Bernie to win, but if he had, we would support him because VOTES matter. They are horrified that the GOP is so brazen with their attempt to take down the front runner.

They are not impressed with it, and while they might not support Trump, they are still horrified that they are trying to shut down the voice of the electorate.

I've been a Cruz guy since the get go. He is the only guy that got any of my hard earned Money. No more for him.

A day ago I figured out he has no path to the Nomination and I will be moving on to my second choice Trump. Makes no difference anyway since this will be decided long before I have a chance to cast my Primary Ballot.

Great that he won Texas, but he only beat Trump by 10% and he didn't break 50%. Only proves my gut feeling.

My Wife, (a Trump Supporter) and I were watching the Cruz Speech. I don't think she would even Vote for Cruz if he was the Nominee in the General after watching that ridiculous spectacle. I am embarrassed for him.

She could not believe how he came off and she said to me, that guy is such an Asshole. That is not her usual style of speaking. I then realized that I was thinking the same thing watching him.

I've always thought of Cruz as the smartest guy in the room, no matter what room he walks into. After that Speech I'll stick with smart, but personality impaired.

I also realized that Cruz has an uncanny resemblance to LBJ. Better make sure nobody gives him a Beagle if and when he gets to the White House.

Thanks, it worked. Still think any republican who has been following the last week - how the GOP establishment is on full attack mode, sucking up to Rubio - is a moron.

The whole Trump phenomenon is about republicans being furious with the GOP establishment and not following through on anything they were elected to do.

So anyone who votes for the GOP establishment candidate is stupid. Maybe a week or so back, I could understand Rubio support - not now.

McConnell, Ryan support him, that should disqualify him with every republican voter in the country

I've been a FReeper since 2004 and this is the first I heard of that. Thanks!

GOPee strategy may now be to keep the dos cubanos in the race to draw just enough delegates from Trump so they can have a fight at the convention floor and possibly steal it from Trump.

Trump, however, made an amazing interview tonight by crossing bridges.

Sorry but that is political ignorance speaking. Preaching to the choir is not a winning tactics in politics.

Cruz gave everyone not on his side reason to dislike him in his speech. You don’t win elections with a fraction of your base. You have to attract other voters and Cruz is demonstrating a rather shocking political tone deafness when it came to getting anyone outside his choir to join him.

Trump has been attacking his fellow Republican candidates for over eight months now. He’s a nasty guy. And this is how he’s supposed to unify support if he becomes the nominee??

Leave it to Minnesota to always provide a state for somebody. In 1984, it was the only State that Mondale won.
