I’m still waiting to hear how he plans to do all this and how it is Constitutional.

Article lV, sec. 4:

The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence.

I wonder, do you apply the same standard to Trump?

Great statement considering Trump has never been in a position in government to perform the task.

Securing the border has been a government issue since at least the 50's....if any of them really wanted it closed, it would be closed.

I think I'll give a well accomplished developer and CEO who has demonstrated his ability to "build" thing the opportunity to get it done....I already no beyond a doubt the politician won't.

Trump has NO INTENTION of a mass deportation. He signaled that clearly last night when he said “at this point” he’s for deportation. He said the wall was not negotiable, but deportation might be.

He was for Gang of 8 amnesty in 2012 and he has not changed. See the video below from 2012. His campaign is based on outrageous fabrications and false promises.

There is plenty of data in the public record that can be used to discern Trump's political stance history. Those actions are what I am speaking of.

Ronald Reagan was not a recent convert to conservatism when he ran for President. His conversions was over a period of years. He established a track record of deeds to support his words. And I didn’t approve of his abortion stance, then or now. So that is one thing on a list of many I did agree with. I still agreed with the maority of his positions and actions.

I said nothing of Trump’s divorces, his parents, nor did I judge anyone. You are off on a complete tangent. Defend Trump without attacking Cruz or wandering off topic.

Back to the point at hand: do you support a majority or a minority of Trump’s actions as they relate to his political leanings? Can you list any actions that demonstrate his newly found conservatism is more than talk?

Not only do they think he’ll win. They’re convinced he’ll build the wall. That’s funny!

As a private citizen, Trump has had no opportunity to take ANY action related to his political leanings.

Your second question is redundant to the first.

However, it is premised on a lie. Trump’s politics is not some kind of ‘recent conversion’’. There are written & videotaped interviews going all the way back to the 80s with him expressing exactly the same opinions.

This is ABOUT Ted Cruz vs. Donald Trump. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be having this conversation.

Ted Cruz’s words & his ACTIONS are 180 degrees from one another. He is NOT a private citizen, but a sitting senator.

The REASON we’re having this little conflict is because Trump is fed up with people like Ted Cruz selling out America & the American people.

A private citizen cannot:

I could go on, but you get the point. You seem to be saying nothing publicly known about Trump indicates his personal political views. That is patently false.

If your entire support of Teump is based on "anti-Cruz", just say so. But stop pretending you chose Trump based on his merits.

There are written and videotaped interviews from 2011, 2013 & early 2015 where Trump directly contradicts his current views. These have been discussed in these forums since Iowa. They are dismissed by his supporters as "ancient history".

Possibly wrt to abortion, but that is not now- & has never been, my political focus. So I honestly don’t know. His complaints about the failure of government have been completely consistent.

How have the ‘’conservatives’’ accomplished anything regarding the restriction of abortion? From my perspective, all advances have been the result of social change/ attitudes. Which, imho, is as it should be.

Single payer healthcare was also in those interviews. If you really have not read up on these more recent statements by Trump, you may want to so you can make a more informed decision.

Thanks to the Marxist/Muslim telling the border guards to stand down, we have millions of Latins (that their country wants to get rid of), Cubans and Puerto Ricans- along with Muslim jihadists mixing in to rape and murder.
No city or town in America is safe any more.

I do get the point, but you appear not to (even though it is your own statement)
Trump was a private citizen. It is his right- & in some cases, for the sake of his business success, a necessity, to donate to certain ‘’concerns’’ who may have a bearing on the success or failure of his business- those who might operate as an obstacle.

These are not necessarily a reflection of his political views or preferences. Maybe yes, maybe no.

My support of Donald Trump has absolutely nothing to do with my opposition to Ted Cruz. My husband & I did not vote for him as the Senate candidate for Texas. I don’t recall if we left that ballot blank or if there was a third party alternative.

I do choose Trump based on his merits. You can believe that or tell yourself whatever you need to about it. I don’t care.

SMH Y’all are really having to reach to try & make that one stick. You failed. Sorry. Maybe if you listened more carefully & didn’t try to twist Trump’s words, you could come up with some legitimate complaint. But that’s not what you do.
