Endgame for Rubio? Team Cruz promising to make a “strong play” for Florida
Hot Air ^

If they’re serious about this, it’s next to impossible to see how Rubio beats Trump there. And if Rubio doesn’t beat Trump there, it’s next to impossible to see how he’s the nominee, even at a brokered convention.

“For the candidates who have not yet won a state, who have not racked up significant delegates, I ask you to prayerfully consider uniting,” Cruz said.

Going forward, Cruz’s team plans to make a play for Florida, Rubio’s must-win state, hoping to benefit from a cage match there between Trump and Rubio.

“We will actively campaign in Florida,” said a senior Cruz aide. “A food fight between those two in Florida, that’s a good opportunity. We’re gonna make a strong play in Florida.”

I expect Trump to rent Miami Stadium for a nationally televised rally there.

He'll be very active. Very.

And Cruz making a play for Florida will make that state a super slugfest.

All other advertisers will be blocked out as campaigns will own ALL commercial time on TV.

I’m not great on MN geography but it looks like Trump won most of the Iron Range, upper northeast part of the state.

Prayerfully, ugh, Cruz is such a jerk.

The reason why the worldlies hate Trump. Because he is not ashamed of publicly expressing his faith.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

Don't forget the Corker/Obama/Iran bill.

Arguably both in the top 5 issues of the last 30 years.

He was on the wrong side3 of both.

I'm looking at a map that shows results by CD, and it shows only wins for Cruz and Rubio.

Do you have a map that shows wins by county? Link? Perhaps that's what you are looking at.

YOU might want to compare Donnie’s previous quotes with current quotes to see where he is on the issues. That is, if you really want a conservative to vote for.

Seems like having a “conservative” is secondary to your having an “anti-establishment” candidate.

Problem is there is one candidate who has done nothing but cozy up to Democrat establishment figures for decades and the other who runs away from the Republican establishment to support positions that he promised the voters he would support.

Guess which one is which?

“Linda” knows that Trump is not a real conservatism, something you should have figured out for yourself.

“Linda” also hates Cruz because he is an inflexible, rock solid conservative, but he knows that Cruz must be supported, because Trump cannot be counted on for his so-called conservative positions and has insulted the electorate to the point where 2/3 of public view him unfavorably.

I think Ted’s “strong play” so far consists of sending out mailers to everyone. I’ve gotten 2 so far. One was eminent domain and the next was bankruptcies. Early voting here in FL started Monday. We are going Saturday. It will be interesting to see turnout after 5 days. I assume some will wait til the weekend like me because we’re working weekdays. There are a lot of retired here though. Trump has a lot of support here but everyone is quiet about it. There are 2 trump yard signs in my neighborhood (mixed race working class), and I have my bumper sticker.

Would you prefer Grahamnesty? I can go with that one.

It’s a time for choosing. Sessions chose Trump. Grahamnesty chose Cruz. For his trouble Sessions was called a prostitute by NATIONAL REVIEW.

Buy a clue, FRiend. There is rebellion afoot and your country needs you on the Trump Train.

That’s it. I was looking at Wikipedia. It’s a national map by county. Sorry for the confusion! FRegards.

Do you have a clue what you are voting FOR???

Trump is an absolute disaster who will make decisions like a king. He will have no accountability to any of the people who voted for him, because he is going to make decisions based upon his own whim. He has no ideology or core foundation whatsoever.

Haven’t you figured that out yet, or do I have to educate you?

Cruz is more appealing than Trump IMO. Republicans can win the general election when they run as a conservative. Cruz can properly articulate that message.

By year end, we will be $20T in debt, with TPP and TTIP in the offing, in the lame duck, maybe.

I do not know how we will pull out of this. We are the end game for globalists.

Politics is not going to save us, which is why I support Trump. Only business and our own moxie and push back can stem this tide.
