Donald Trump appeals to racism.
[F]rom the beginning his campaign has profited from voter prejudice and hatred and represents an authoritarian assault upon democracy.
If Speaker Paul Ryan wishes to be on the right side of history he must condemn Mr. Trump clearly and comprehensively. The same goes for every other Republican leader.
Maybe that would split the (Republican) party, but, No job is worth the moral stain that would come from embracing (Trump). No party is worth saving at the expense of the country.
If Republican leaders wish to be regarded as moral, every one of them must renounce Trump, even if it means destroying their party.
Who has laid down this moral mandate? The Holy Father in Rome?

After being a Cruz supporter, all this vitriol has convinced me to support Trump. If the PTB and Mittens are this insane over The Donald, I will most surely vote for him if he is the nominee.
“If Republican leaders wish to be regarded as moral, every one of them must renounce Trump, even if it means destroying their party.”
Moral? Surely, you must be Joking?
After today, I can say with a clear mind that I will vote for Trump, period. The actions that the GOPe displayed today are beyond appalling, — they are heinously evil and shameful. We are seeing history unfold before our eyes. I would have never ever expected to see this sort of behavior in the USA. The GOP is finished as of this year. Yes, as the saying goes.............they have been caught in their own trap! Today, the GOP went beyond the point of return, all hope is lost for this organization. They are History!
I’ll have the Schadenfruede deluxe with a side of fries and large sweet tea please!
I can’t get over how they trotted out Mitt Romney to warn us about Trump.. Does anybody really think that big numbers of Trump.supporters will be convinced by Mitt that Trump is not worthy of their support now??
And it makes me wonder what exactly was the purpose of trotting out Mitt?? What does anyone hope to gain by this stunt???
It is not Republican vs. Democrat or Conservative vs. Liberal, it is Trump vs. The Establishment.
The GOPe hates Cruz with the intensity of a thousand suns, and they know Kaisich can’t win, so after Trump brought down Low Energy Jeb! their only viable horse in the race was Little Marco, who is the weakest and least qualified candidate ever to run for President. And now he is stinking up the joint and will lose badly in Florida.
So the Company turned to Romney as a good company man and gave him his speech to present like a good company man does. They also filed the paperwork with FEC on Jan. 30 so he’s ready to go. Obviously he can’t participate in any primaries so their strategy will be to force a brokered convention and put his name in nomination. There’s a meeting in April when the GOP can make whatever changes to the Rules they think will aid and abet in the theft of the nomination from Trump. Even if it is suicidal to the party. We’ll soon see.
Amazing that they are not this crazy about Hillary Clinton. She cackled and gave a maniacal statement about the assassination of the leader of an African Nation. Wake up people ! Hillary is the dangerous one. She is under investigation by the FBI. For several felonies that compromised our national security ! Hillary is so maniacal and dangerous, that only Bernie Sanders would run against her. Pure insanity.
I think we are all forgetting that the Establishment has another candidate in this race that they WILL turn to when they have to... and her name is Hillary... and several GOP pols are already saying they will vote for her before the GOP nominee.
It’s Trump(R) against all the establishement(Ud) and extablishment(Ur).
Uniparty (d)emocrat and Uniparty (r)epublican
Agreed,Add them to the whig column.
Trump is going to put it to them and hard.
bob it will never happen, i’m a cruzer but will go trump if it does. I don’t think they are that stupid
Make mine a double!
Seems more and more like it.
Washington Times Poll:
Who won the Republican debate?
Donald Trump - 17121 (80%)
Ted Cruz - 1043 (5%)
John Kasich - 2587 (12%)
Marco Rubio - 591 (3%)
O’Reilly tonight was talking up Kasich as THE best policy man in the country. It was bizarre and over the top.
I started knowing about politics in 1968,, go Trump!
‘Are these folks coming out in droves to vote Republican really the bigoted, hateful and authoritarian people of the Posts depiction?’
The Post is evil and helped split the Catholics into liberal and conservative over contraception in the 1970’s. Time to unite around Trump. Time to get Benedict XVI out of retirement.
Isn’t it amazing to hear people talking about Trade?
Where was that discussion in 2012? We have been getting ripped off or years. Our economy is recovering at a snails’s pace. Trad & O’care.
Thank God for Trump
