Only 7 of the remaining 34 primaries are OPEN primaries!

And 2 of those are Puerto Rico and American Samoa. One of them is Indiana, which sounds like Cruz country to me. Wikipedia says the rest are closed or "semi-closed." Advantage swinging from Trump to Cruz with so many closed primaries remaining! Trump has lost most of the closed primaries so far. 288 delegates remain in these open primaries, 1196 in the others.

This is a new lie being pedaled by Trumpettes: Ted Cruz only worked in government. False. He worked in the private sector for 7 years during the 16 years between graduation from law school and his swearing in as United States Senator.

We need someone who understands how leftists insidiously infiltrate the government and try to take over our lives. Bringing in a neophyte to the inner workings of government means the trenched-in leftists in the bureaucracy will be able to continue to operate without someone from the outside being able to push back against the leftist bias of government.

New lie being pedaled by the ‘Trumpettes’??

Thank you, GR, for pointing the poster to the truth, about untrusTED’s actual (very short) time in the private sector.

Looks like we see who’s doing the ‘lie pedaling’, around here.

Do Trump supporters now wish Gore had won? Are they hoping Trump comes out claiming Bush stole the election from Gore?

You’re demented. The link should he worked for 2 years after law school in a private firm and then 4 years and 9 months later with the Morgan firm. Another lie by Trumpanzees

Why is that such a bad thing? Being a policy advisor and Soliciter general are certainly respectable jobs. ESPECIALLY since he did such a great job as Texas Soliciter General, wouldn’t you agree he did?

Never thought I’d see the promoting of a career government employee or someone with inner workings of government, over an outsider with vast biz ownership and job creating experience, as a preferred choice for CIC to clean out the DC CESSPOOL, here.

Seen a lot, but this takes the cake....so far. :-/

What’s next? Insisting that acquiring Team Jeb’s campaign finance guys is not a sign of an establishment insider? Jeez.

Question; Would Democrats go after Cruz
Answer: With a vengeance due to Gore recount.

Any questions?

Thanks for reminding me of that inside D.C. lobbying firm, founded by DOJ officials, that propelled Cruz and his boss Michael Carvin onto the Bush Transition team!

Here is a CONTEMPORANEOUS article at the time regarding that.
https://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1980&dat=20001231&id=_VYoAAAAIBAJ&sjid=wgUGAAAAIBAJ&pg=1441,6922735&hl=en

I will recalculate, Ted Cruz has either been in a government job or working in a K street lobbying firm for 191 months of 249 of his adult life.

The rest other his adult life Ted worked as a highly paid corporate attorney representing clients such as:

1. Chinese company that had stolen trade secrets and designs from a US-based tire manufacturing firm,
2. Pennsylvania developer who was a central player in a corruption scandal
3. representing the Texas Retired Teachers Association to obtain Stimulus money
4. represented Pennsylvania-based company that made and sold pharmaceutical and medical products against a whistleblower (he lost)

Thanks for the correction.

By the way Cruz has changed his Linked In page over time but the Democrats have the information below and I expect they will use it.

Cruz’ contribution to the Bush/Cheney campaign reads as follows:

Department of Justice Coordinator
Bush-Cheney Transition Team

December 2000 – January 2001 (2 months)

One of four leaders of the Department of Justice Transition Team.
Florida Recount Team
Bush-Cheney 2000 campaign

November 2000 – December 2000 (2 months)

Helped assemble legal team, coordinate legal effort, and draft pleadings in the Florida and U.S. Supreme Courts. Helped advise Secretary James A. Baker on overall legal strategy.
Domestic Policy Advisor
Bush-Cheney 2000

July 1999 – November 2000 (1 year 5 months)

Advised President George W. Bush on a wide range of policy matters, with primary responsibility for all legal policy, including Civil Justice, Criminal Justice, Constitutional Law & Civil Rights, Immigration, Campaign Finance Reform, Political Process, and Government Reform.

If you read this detail, please don’t claim that Ted and Heidi are not “Bushies”.

Agree, I despise Hillary. Her criminal behavior is well know and her violation of security on her private server is appalling, but somehow she is the Democratic party’s front runner? They are totally bankrupt as a party.
