A download of a BBB report is “from the BBB.” It was not an email. It was a page copy of a posted report showing Trump receiving an “A”, (upgraded from a D- based on the spurious complaints of 2 attorneys no longer in practoce) from the BBB.

it won’t matter that he was busy having illegal meetings on stage with his campaign staff

LOL, illegal huh?

LMAO at your desperation and the depth of the gutter some of you here sink into.

And I support Cruz too!

Are you daring to suggest that Decisions and Actions based on Emotions, are no worse than those made with Facts and Logic?

Obviously you failed self esteem awareness training.

I’m just not that smart when it comes to technology. But, if it’s true you can make it look like it came from someplace else then how can faxes be accepted as evidence in court?

Isn’t it time to stop throwing crap on both sides? There is no perfect candidate just we prefer one or the other.

I'll agree with this.

Although you'd have more credibility had you said it when Cruz was the only one taking fire here.

Then where did she get it from? She admitted having it and not mentioning it in the debate.

If that was the shadiest thing done during this campaign I’d consider my Novena a resounding success.

The only emotion I see related to this topic takes place up thread by Trump detractors.

How would emotion be a factor if his man said, “This just came in, thinking it had been sent from their people since it was on file”, and Trump hearing that it just came in and thinking it came from the BBB?

Folks just love to jump to the wrong conclusions to trash Trump.

There may be a simple explanation for this.

Here’s the salient fact from the article:
“The BBB Business Review of Trump Entrepreneur Initiative (formerly Trump University) has shown ‘No Rating’ continually since September 2015,” it wrote in a statement.”

The discussion after the debate would lead you to believe he cleaned up his act and the ‘school’ was doing good things. It tanked once they got in trouble and tried to keep their promises. Not a good business model.

The phone number is printed on the fax by the recieving unit. The same caller ID stuff applies for that as for land lines.

In court, the owner of the land line could be traced. I presume efax providers have billing information for their accounts that could also be traced.

But all the “from” stuff on the cover page is just fields you set in the machine’s configuration menu.

The BBB report was faxed to him but not from the BBB. The BBB does not fax, it allows for downloading.

The fax was first downloaded. But that didn’t stop some scumbag media ass from calling the BBB and asking if it were true that they faxed Donald Trump during the debate to which “What? No! We didn’t fax him anything!” was the response. So the media grabs that little blurb and declares Trump a liar.

The media people never lie do they? Noooo, they never do that.

For those reading and lurking, all of this nonsense has been covered over here:

Did 98% of the students fill out forms that they were very happy with the school? Yes.

Did some of that 98% actually sign up to take additional classes which they also enjoyed? Yes.

Did some of the complainants turn in cards that they were happy. Yes.

This has been addressed at length.

It’s another in a long string of misleading issues regarding Trump.

He was said to be for single payer, which most of us knew was entirely untrue. And yet it took until last week for him to finally convince many of the people who were knowingly lying about it, that the gig was finally up.

This is not helping Ted.

having illegal meetings on stage

illegal? has Trump been indicted somewhere for failure to adhere to arbitrary debate rules backstage on breaks? or is it fair, for a person who has no debate background, to be double-teamed, with moderator permission, by professional debaters and their memorized talking points?

It means somebody did not present the facts accurately. Either the BBB or trump or the report that Trump claimed it was just from the BBB. Intent to misinform and exactly who did it are not clear.

“Better Business Bureau just sent it. It just came in. I just got it,”

The only emotion I see related to this topic takes place up thread by Trump detractors.

Sorry, I was being sarcastic, thought it was obvious.

There may be a simple explanation for this.
There is

1. Trumps people knew it was false and tried to get the info to the debate ASAP.

2. The Never Trump crowd is so worked up into an emotional; frenzy after throwing every wild accusation they had and NONE of it Sticking, that they will glob on to just about anything to salvage their deep emotional belief’s and be damned with facts.

Don’t forget there was happiness followed by despair, all of which was directly and tightly correlated with a real estate market/banking crash in 2008.

Was Donald Trump responsible for the crash in the latter part of the 2000s?
