“I have known Mr. Trump casually for many years, and we have always been on friendly terms. I even agreed to appear on “The Apprentice” — twice. But he has run the most divisive and demagogic presidential campaign I can remember, preying on people’s prejudices and fears. Abraham Lincoln, the father of the Republican Party, appealed to our “better angels.” Trump appeals to our worst impulses.”

Another endorsement for Trump.

Internal polling outside NYC apparently didn’t give the former Mayor much encouragement.

Perhaps there are more people who prefer the option of buying 32 oz fountain drinks than who would vote for Bloomberg for president.

But Clinton and Sanders ARE ‘palatable options”?

What a hypocritical POS

Bloomberg formally vetted Adm. Michael Mullen, the former chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, to serve as his potential running mate. He had also already cut a television ad aimed at introducing voters to the mayor.

Shades of Ross Perot and Admiral James Stockdale.

"The fact is, even if I were to receive the most popular votes and the most electoral votes[massive ego wish], victory would be highly unlikely, because most members of Congress would vote for their party’s nominee," Bloomberg wrote.

Oh Yeah--Bloomberg was very likely to sweep the popular & electoral votes of the Nation.
Bloomy's White House fantasy moment crashes to a close. With Trump's domniation of every present and future news cycle, Bloomberg reluctantly realizes his announcement of a possible Presidential run turned out to be a huge, empty Manhattan Nothingburger.

*Yawn* OK Mike.

Some people need to step out of their own egos from time to time. Nobody cares. You’d have been yet another single-digit delegate midget.

Nobody wants what you’re selling.

No surprise here.
He’s an affiliate of the Clinton Crime Family.

Hillary is gonna be the D nominee.

Not sure if Bloomie would stoop to take a cabinet job or not.

Too bad. He probably would have taken a lot of votes away from Clinton.
