And this is no way a valid parallel to the Trump university students.
Trump university had no accreditation, therefore was not a university.
Trump university instructors had no credentials.
Trump university would not would have been an Adult Education or Career Technical Training School.
Trump university was not an institution of higher learning.
If Trump university lied to their students in order to get them to sign up, then that appears to be fraud to me.
Fraud is the intentional deception of a person or entity by another made for monetary or personal gain. Fraud offenses always include some sort of false statement, misrepresentation, or deceitful conduct.
“So Trump is lying to us.”
About ?
In other words, it’s semantic and you prefer to be on the wrong side of the line with the Establisment. Thanks for clearing that up.
They attended the free seminar that had made claims that during the free seminar they would be taught Trumps own secrets and techniques for real estate investing and how to be successful and taught by instructors he had hand-picked, but were instead pressured by very hard sell upsell technics by the instructors who were nothing more than sales people, to purchase additional seminars. The free seminar taught nothing that they had been promised and the hand-picked instructors were not hand-picked by Trump and many had no prior real estate experience, nor was the content of the seminar created, or even reviewed or approved by Trump.

FWIW some who initially completed positive surveys after and many even before even finishing either the free seminar or after they paid $1,495 for a three-day conference, and were considering or had now paid for the Gold Elite Program, were hesitant not to give positive reviews as they felt, especially since the surveys were not anonymous, that it might negatively impact future promises of a mentorship or further instruction and insider information from these same instructors, that never materialized.
New York State alleged that some students felt pressured by their teachers to provide high rankings or were asked to rate the course before they had even completed it.
FWIW Ive attended a lot of 1 or 2 day seminars or even longer training classes through work over the years and never have any of those surveys not been anonymous nor have I ever been asked to complete one until the seminar or class was complete. Sure, many of the instructors asked me to complete one and often ask me to give them a good rating, but allowing me to do so anonymously at the end or on line after the seminar was over and after having received a certificate of completion and a CME if applicable, allowed me to give a completely honest opinion of the course and the instructor.
Any organization interested in honest feedback lets you do so anonymously and only shares the overall rating results with the instructor and not the identities of the individuals who completed them positive or negative.
As to the A rating by the BBB, for one thing, those ratings are pretty much meaningless and Trump University didnt even consistently have an A rating over the years. The BBB is a scam in and of itself.

How many accredited universities, colleges or even community colleges or accredited trade schools make statements or promises like this?
Listen to a trade school commercial sometime.
Thanks.
So Trump is not lying... He is outrageously lying.
WOW
Wrong and deceptive.
First off, here is the Wayback Machine last screenshot of Trump University.
https://web.archive.org/web/20100420184236/http://www.bbb.org/new-york-city/business-reviews/training-programs/trump-university-in-new-york-ny-97075/
D- rating.
Trump University had to change it name because it was not accredited to use "University" and they just thought they would be able to slide (and did for a while raking in a lot of money). But it finally caught up to them so they changed the name trying to slip the knot (take their money and run).
They basically shut down operations, changed the name and waited 3 years (thus the complaints time out and no longer are recorded). Thus why you see Trump try to pass an internal business paper off as the actual BBB web rating. After 3 years even a money running a business with an F- rating can get it changed back to an "A" rating. Take no more people, thus no more complaints and shazam you have an A rating.
