I do not know life without books. I have loved reading ever since I learned how way back in the good ole days. I have over 250 books on my iPads. Just started reading a new series for me—Casca by Barry Sadler. He wrote Ballad of the Green Berets. The first book was very interesting. I love history. Need to order some more.

I agree with that.

Take them or leave them. They do not amount to a hill of beans. The pollsters know the people they are polling to get whatever result they want.

I love the Casca series! You’re in for a treat. The God of Death is one of the best ones, followed by Casca: Panzer soldier.

They’d make such great movies, but I bet nobody wants to touch it because of the Christian premise.

FYI: Be careful with some of the later installments. They were not written by Sadler and not nearly as good. One was apparently plagiarized from another work.

Also, Sadler’s biography I’M A LUCKY ONE is amazing. Fascinating man, fascinating life.

Falling for the promises of a long time liberal now claiming to be a conservative, that’s how.

Maybe you're the gullible one for believing that that is the most important factor to most Republican primary voters? I do think he's conservative enough on the issues that matter to me however and I do think he has just as much a chance to beat Hillary as any other candidate. There's no doubt that that will be an epic fight and Trump is an epic fighter. he has shown us that. Cruz is not a fighter. He hasn't had to actually fight for anything yet. He just stands there screaming: "I'm the most conservative!" and people like you eat it up. That's not fighting, that's pandering and I don't see how it carries him through a general election.

Reagan was a liberal democrat before he saw the light too btw.

It is our Supreme Court justices who are uneducated. Chief Justice Morrison Waite, 88 U.S. 162 (1875):

The Constitution does not, in words, say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners.
Just as uneducated is the author of the citizenship section of the 14th Amendment, Congressman, Abolitionist, Judge John Bingham, who confused Congress by explain, at least five times, here to the Congressional Globe in 1866:

I find no fault with the introductory clause [S 61 Bill], which is simply declaratory of what is written in the Constitution, that every human being born within the jurisdiction of the United States of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty is, in the language of your Constitution itself, a natural born citizen….
Bingham also explained that the 14th Amendment, the amendment upon which the 1934 law allowing the foreign-born children born to one U.S. citizen parent to not have to file papers to be treated as a naturalized citizen. It also provided that native-born residents such as Rubio, Jindal, and Haley, along with Wong Kim Ark after whom the Supreme Court decision was named:

These ignorant people created respectively, the precedent confirming our common law definition for natural born citizenship, and creating the amendment that naturalized citizens and upon which most all of our naturalization law, "an Uniform Rule for Naturalization", and which has nothing whatsoever to do with natural born citizenship, nor can it modify by implication any other Supreme Court decision.

We have so little respect for, and apparently, knowledge of the Constitution that it may not matter.

I am a Cruz voter to the end and nothing you Trumpites can say will change my mind just like nothing I say will change yours. Just live with my comment just like I live with all yours.

Time will tell.

The way I see it, once Rubio and Kasich are gone, it's all good. I support Trump but I won't be that disappointed if I have to vote for Cruz. My interests are well served either way. Cruz has one glaring weakness that many among us have attempted to minimize and that weakness leads to another battle later on down the road but I'm interested in fighting and winning today's battle today. I'll worry about tomorrow's battles tomorrow.

I would give it greater thought if it were Cruz/Trump. Come on, you knew I was going to go there. ;-)

Considering that that is what Trump’s followers call him, just who are you talking about?

Thanks. My late husband use to tell me I could be the smartest person around when I wanted to be and could do anything I wanted. Well, I had to prove that about. 5 years ago. We were under a tornado warning so I got some candles and matches out just I case. I went ahead and lit the one I put in the bathroom sink. I thought it would be safer there. Well, when we got the all clear notice, I went to check on it. Now, just imagine this. That 3 wick candle had melted and the wax had gone down the drain. I knew I was the buddy who would have to fix that little situation. I stretched out on the floor and took a look at it. I knew I could take that drain apart. I did and even got it back together. It did not leak. I just looked up and said “thank, Jesus.” I just have to laugh at the little situations I get myself into. God bless.

What do you think really happened to him? I love his music. I guess I need to order his book. Most of mine are by William W. Johnstone. Really enjoy the Out of the Ashes series, his Last Mountain Man, First Mountain Man, The Eagles series, The Rig Warrior series of 3 books, etc.

Love the post graduate degree numbers for Trump... that’s gonna make Brit and Megyn at FOX scream for their fainting couch.

http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2016/03/narcissistic_rage_as_the_psychodynamic_of_trump_derangement_syndrome.html

“Whatever the future holds, Trump is awakening the self-respect of Americans from a concussive coma. For sixty years, the elites have been safely bunkered in narcissistic delusions while the majority of Americans have been bombarded with the big lies about being racists with no right to defend their country.”
