Haven’t read any of the Johnstone books. I’ll have to check those out.
My current BIL is one of them, he tries to bait me every time there is a gathering and I just smile! He’s the one who exclaimed that signing on to barrycare was easy as pie, when it was first rolled out and all the news was how the website took the money and ran. I told him to hurry up and contact the local news, they’d love to hear a success story!
He holds 2 masters and truly believes he’s the smartest guy in any room - and of course just loves barry.
Sorry. LoL
I have a relative that is a member of a union.
They have a degree, hard earned and I respect that, but they buy off on anything the “benevolent” Union says.
I once asked who they thought caused the problems in California.
The Republicans was the answer.
I reminded them the the Democrats had been the majority in our legislature for half a century or so.
Nope, it was the Republicans fault the state is in such a mess.
And of course they were too smart to let me hoodwink them.
Duh.
So painful isn’t it? It’s both fascinating and frustrating that truth eludes so many. I don’t ‘practice’ here on line, but in ‘real life’ there are a few different ways I approach their thinking.
I admit, some of it is done with a true desire to understand how one can look at a dog and say it’s a cat! lol
I admit this rule isn’t universal, but I have noticed that at least in enough instances to make this observation somewhat reasoned, that the more years over a high school education someone has, the less logic they posess.
