From the Christian point of view, the only problem Trump has is that he's a hardcore Calvinist. Or, don't you consider Presbyterian Calvinists to be Christian ??
People who are convinced they're either among the elect or not and can't do a thing about it are also sure there's no need to ask forgiveness since doing so makes no difference. Perhaps before claiming "Anyone who is Christian should . . ." anything you should study what all passes as Christian in this country and realize that a great many people who aren't Presbyterian are Calvinists just like Trump. Even a great many Dominionists just like Ted's Dad who has no problem at all palling around with Mormons any more than his son has a problem hanging with Mormons Beck and Romney.
Funny how when Romney was at the head of the ticket the, "Anyone who is Christian . . ." crowd said people should stay home rather than vote for him but have no problem with Cruz being big pals with Beck and taking all the help he can get from Romney.
How typically Pharisee, telling the masses what's good for them while doing something else themselves.

Blown smoke up his loyal fans' you-know-what regarding illegals, Islam, vets, and guns. Where these issues being seriously discussed from anything but the Uniparty side prior to Trump?
We need that kind of "smoke."

Jo - Cruz victory thread. My suggestion - congratulate & get out.
They're fellow freepers, much as we like to fight. :)

Yes he did.
Looks like a very decent 16+% win.
I voted at 8:05 AM and was number 7 to vote in our precinct this morning on my way to work.
Glad to see such a healthy win for him.

Congrats Cruzers ...Ted did well in ID!!!

Every delegate matters. If Rubio and Kaisch were to drop out and release their delegates to Cruz, it could deny Trump the nomination.
If that happened tomorrow it would be Cruz: 552/Trump: 446.

In the south yes, in N. Idaho I think it had more to do with the Ted Cruz pastor gets shot story all this week.

Oh, sure thing, the senator who stood alone for 22 hours on the Senate floor fighting Obamacare (with limited support) and called Mitch McConnell a liar and paid the price of shunning, is another Bush. What a crock! The establishment despises Cruz. The only reason they would back him is because their precious Bush and Rubio have taken a dump. But don't try telling that to the folks who have already made up their minds.

Well, with 96% of the vote counted now, here in Idaho we are delivering Ted Cruz a win margin of over 17%.
Almost as big a margin as he got in TX.
Way to go Idaho!
