Chris Matthews went off on Ted Cruz again tonight for his claim that he has firsthand knowledge of news organizations withholding damning Donald Trump reporting until he’s the GOP nominee.
Cruz said the liberal media just can’t wait to pounce on Trump, but are waiting until they can do damage in the general election.
Matthews played the clip of Cruz saying all that, and then said, “I would love to know why we can’t use, occasionally, lie detectors.” He said Cruz just made things up and wondered what the hell he’s talking about.
He asked Eugene Robinson, “Have you ever heard of a major newspaper… sitting on a really good story they got because it’s not ripe enough politically?”

How would I know if they are or not? Do you? I would think that a US Senator would have better sources than I do.
Trump has been living in a fish bowl in the media center of the entire planet. New York City. NYC media has been following and reporting on Trump for decades. There are no bomb shells out there. Every move Trump makes is headline news in the NYC tabloids.

Even you have to admit that Cruz is just throwing things against the wall to see what sticks. If these words came out of Harry Reid's mouth, you would be screaming about it.
Cruz has pulled some things that are more in line with the GOPe than with us lately. The latest being taking on Jebby's money and brother! You can't be happy about this.
