How the GOP stupidly enabled a Donald Trump 'comeback'
The Week ^ | March 9, 2016 | Damon Linker

Remember when Donald Trump was losing?

If you blinked, you might have missed it.

It started during last Thursday's debate, continued through the muddled results of Saturday's caucuses and primaries, and lasted until, oh, around the time that news outlets began calling Mississippi for Trump a few minutes after the polls closed in the state on Tuesday night.

Anyone who uses the term “GOPe” and supports a life-long liberal who helped Harry Reid defeat the Tea Party is seriously confused.

The article is a good reminder of why supporting Trump is good.

I don’t know who did the great collage.

The photos of the Pope and other open border thugs are great.

And winning. Yes, Jim, in spite of having 100's of kitchen sinks thrown at him daily by the open border thugs, Trump keeps winning.

INSIDE EDITION just showed the steaks Trump showed last night came from a local meat company. The guy who ran Trump Steaks said he’d be surprised if they sold $50,000 worth of steaks.

The magazine is only printed once a year.

And the bottled water is only available at Trump owned businesses.

Trump was stupid for pulling that little stunk. People had already turned on Romney. Now Romney gets the last laugh as all the stuff Trump said last night about those businesses were lies.

And I am definitely FOR Trump!

Trump showed his wine and talked about how he sold his airline company. I thought he said the water was only available at Trump properties.

Who cares about the steaks. It was probably just a miscommunication. The point is Trump did sell steaks.

Romney said and/or implied that all Trump businesses were total failures. Trump could have refuted the point more skillfully but the point was Trump has many successful businesses.

“what went wrong with the #NeverTrump movement. “

The voters?

The voters who no longer fall for the Romney/RINO/GOPe/oligarch/plutocrat/rich-string-pullers/professional-political-class propaganda and lies?

He did say that the water is available at this companies.

Yes, he did sell steaks but Romney was pointing out failures and that was one. Trump would have done better to say “We didn’t sell a lot of steaks but here are other businesses that were very successful.”

And you’re right about the wine. They never mentioned it.

I just know that Cruz folks look for any reason they can find to dump on Trump. He doesn’t need to give them ammo.

I’m told Rush says Trump is doing this with a wink and a nod and his supporters get it but the drive bys don’t. Well, I guess it went over my head, too. But, I still believe Romney’s little trick backfired and it should be left to die.

"Then Romney gave Trump a big push with his treason against Trump and we, his voters/supporters."

Bishop Dullard vs. Bobo in 2012 was the nadir of American presidential politics. JimRob and the entire FUMR crowd were One. Hundred. Percent. Correct.

Should have ran Newt but he had a handful of regrettable optics (sofa sitdown with Pelosi the worst; and frankly, he should have endeavored to drop 20 pounds after the gall bladder surgery; but after recovering, what did the very next WashPost pic show? Newt deftly handling a 3-egg omelette in one hand and reaching for something additional on a large breakfast bar GOP shindig).

“I just know that Cruz folks look for any reason they can find to dump on Trump. He doesn’t need to give them ammo.”

If Trump loaded the gun for them all they’d do is shoot themselves.

Rush did an admirable job of explaining what this is and why it’s so completely irrelevant.
