GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz tells The Brody File that the reason Donald Trump is performing well in the GOP race for president is because his voters are uninformed and not engaged in the process. “Donald does well with voters who have relatively low information, who are not that engaged and who are angry and they see him as an angry voice. Where we are beating him is when voters’ get more engaged and they get more informed.” Hunch: I’m thinking Trump and his “Silent Majority” may push back on this just a bit don’t you think? Lots to unpack here but for now, here’s the clip.

I am told she left to a site more congenial to her candidate. There is a certain honesty in that. I like her, and always have. She is a fierce pro-life warrior. I really, really tried hard to see the best in her guy, but at this point there is no way.
Hopefully she will come back at some point, but this campaign is even more divisive than 2012.

Thank you for that thoughtful and insightful post. I wasn’t raised by alcoholics, but I married a person who was. As such, I noticed about Cruz exactly what you commented on. He rewrites history without a second’s hesitation—and instantly the rewrite becomes his reality. It’s nothing short of insanity.
You are right about the root cause as well. In his alcoholic family, he learned fast that history is not what happened; history is what the Alcoholic in Charge [doubtless Rafael Sr] said happened. You question/challenge that ‘reality’ at your own great personal risk.
It’s a tragic environment for a child to be raised in. The adulthood of that same child, barring extensive intervention, is utterly destructive to all concerned.
Cool. I find it impossible to give a pass to anyone who teaches his children to fake prayers because it makes good optics.
