Theres a witch hunt underway for conservatives at the University of Southern California and Jacob Ellenhorn appears to be Public Enemy No. 1.
Ellenhorn is a student senator at USC and president of the College Republicans. He is also an outspoken conservative.
And thats a big problem among his fellow student lawmakers at USC.
Ellenhorn is facing possible impeachment accused of all sorts of tawdry behavior like publicly expressing his conservative opinions and (brace yourself) inviting high-profile conservative speakers to campus.
It seems like freedom of speech and freedom to express your views is not allowed by the University of Southern California student government right now, he told me.

I saw a different article this morning about how students in one school are being told they should report other students who harbor anti-government beliefs or opinions. Yep, the promoter of the scheme was purported to be the FBI!

That's the important thing. It's not that these kids purport to be so scared and fragile that they can't withstand hearing dissenting opinions. Because, I don't believe that for a minute. I don't think they do either. It's that they're getting away with using this excuse to silence dissenting opinions. (And the very fact that I'm calling conservative opinion, "dissenting", says something about what these campuses are, and unfortunately, that I need to stop buying into it. It's "dissent" to them, not to me).

What are these conservative beliefs that are so offensive?
Conservatism is biblical, and is grounded in following God and his commandments. Uh...
...you've answered your own question.

It amazes me how quickly we became the Soviet Union.Quickly?
It took 50 years or so...

"It amazes me how quickly we became the Soviet Union." Ronald Reagan told us we were only one generation away from total communism....
But I think we all know it was going to happen.... We remember the 60's.... Most of the hippies were just a bunch of commie rats, and now their in charge of all the schools and most of the government....
Oh.....sorry...the schools ARE the government....and therein lies the problem....
MHO....

This is a college, but the impeachers almost certainly attended public schools.
Another reason, right?

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
If our colleges were filled to the brim with students who could defend their faith and our nation's founding principles. Their godless Marxist teachers and fellow students would wither before their righteousness. The godless would be like the Wicked Witch of the West. “Help me! I'm melting!”
Children in godless schools must learn to think and reason godlessly just to cooperate in the godless classroom. How could it be otherwise?
Children in godless government schools also risk learning that their faith must be hidden away as if it were a bathroom activity.
