howdy!! Still stuck in Idaho....LOL it seems the rock slide is all politics now. They are saying late April to clear the road.
Oh well the only reason I want out of here is my poochie, his paw is giving him issues. We are at 2ft snow should have 4ft....heard birds today I have never heard up here.
Heck a quail was on my truck a few days ago...............never seen them here in town. Well we will either get slammed with snow or have a horrible fire season.
How is your weather?

That one works.
Had the pleasure of getting to see them in concert in Raleigh many years ago. I don’t think my feet touched the ground as I left the auditorium.

I get goosebumps every time I hear the song.
The album cover for Brain Salad Surgery is one of my faves because I’m a Giger fan. His artwork is weird but cool. I have “Necronomicon” - - a book of some of his works.

I had a good friend in Nashville that I hanged out with for a time. He was from a song writing family. His name was Putnam. Their best hit was a Tom Jones masterpiece. It is amazing how words are put to music.

I remember that song well. He was so YOUNG in that video. LOL!
How time flies.
Did your friend help write the song or did another family member write it alone?

It was all good. Nashville is a town unto itself.
I understand Carl’s Jr. is making the move. Oh my.

I wouldn’t live there now but loved living there in the early to mid ‘70s. Lived in the Hillsboro Village area. Boy, have they ruined that section of the city!
I wish I could remember the name of the little bar I hung out at but my ol’ pea brain ain’t what it used to be. LOL! But they had live music and a lot of GOOD local musicians played there. I don’t think many of them got anywhere and that’s a shame. They were good but Nashville is always flooded with musicians and only so many are lucky enough to make it.
A couple of guys from bands I heard in Raleigh moved to Nashville in later years and made it big. Ben Folds went there to write music and formed Ben Folds Five, and Darius Rucker, from Hooty and the Blowfish, ended up going country. Both really nice guys and I’m glad they’ve done well.
