The old Russia was called The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics [1922-1991]. It was formed by {drum roll} the Communists.
Sanders honeymooned there in 1988.

To call yourself an outsider when you have been a Senator foe decades is a lie? FYI you are an admitted Socialist and are endorsed by the Communist Party.
The Communist Party, USA has, in fact, endorsed Sanders. Has anyone demanded that he disavow their endorsement, after all, the Communist Party has murdered tens of millions of people worldwide over the years.
Since Hillary can only just barely beat this communist crackpot in the primaries I expect that she’ll only get around 20% of the vote in the November election.
It's easy to decipher the code, though. When a liberal reads the words "democratic socialist" they only see the "democratic" part but not the "socialist". But when a socialist sees the same phrase, all they see is the socialist part. That way, no matter how they self-identify, it works for either one.
That works out well, I guess. In 2016 America, both words mean virtually the same thing.
