NewsMax ^ | Wednesday, 02 Mar 2016 | Todd Beamon

Donald Trump would make "a terrible nominee and a terrible president" — and The Weekly Standard Editor Bill Kristol said Wednesday that he would rather have Hillary Clinton in the White House than the Republican front-runner.

Kristol and the GOP “establishment” would rather have a Hillary than a populist Trump.

They could have (and still could) block Trump by consolidating around Cruz, but they would rather have Hillary than a conservative.

The fact is that Bush, Kasich, Rubio, and most of the Congressional delegation represent only about 20% of the party, the 20% that is fine with big intrusive government, open borders, and imposing far left social mores, as long as they get their share of the big government goodies.

One way or the other, the 80% who want reform are going to take back their party from the 20% that simply want power.

Amazing how this “stuff” keeps floating to the surface. Trump is chasing all of the “elite” out if the closet. Nice to know who they are. Some surprises for me in the “floaters.”

Love him or hate him; Donald has exposed all the cockroaches and rats for all the world to see.

For this alone, he deserves our gratitude, if not your vote.

Personally, he’s got my vote. I’m not looking to elect an angel or a saint. I want a pitbull. Even if it’s the junkyard dog

In other words, he is OK with a corrupt, communist, unindicted felon, who committed treason while she was SOS, in the White House!

He has several similar thinking followers on FR!

Indeed Trump has. He candidacy has led to the exposure others in addition to the devious B. Kristol: Mitt Romney, P. Ryan (no surprise), and many more. It was disturbing to hear the comments made by Teddy Cruz, Robot Rubio, and Kasich the Amnesty Man regarding the Chicago disrupters. That I would not have expected. And they sounded incredibly similar.

I watched as much of the referenced video as I can tolerate. Everybody talks at the same time like they do on Fx Noise, presumably to hold viewers attention until the next high-priced commercial.

Other than political pundits emotionally expressing that they don’t like a candidate, Trump in this case, I never hear specific as to why a given candidate would not be a good president.

"Then Kristol and all his Neo-Brethen should become Democrats and vote accordingly."

Which they probably have done for decades.

These “conservative” magazines like Weekly Standard and the National Review are now hangouts for the Republican elites who live well but create nothing.

In Trump, they see that they will not be welcome at the King’s table anymore, and that there influence will be gone. They are in fear. They see a future in Trump where they will have no great wealth, where they will lose their plush jobs, and they don’t know how to handle it.

After all, of what use is a laid-off pundit? He couldn’t even do the night shift at the 7-11.
