MO... he ran a percentage point higher than Cruz in a state Cruz should have won handily.
They do vote in the general, too.
LOL, another rock-ribbed conservative state turning in Trump’s primary high number.
Yeah, for Dummycraps.
That was 40.9%, not 41% or over.
Sure...Ted will win the general election with the fine slate of states he’s won thus far. Idaho and Guam strike fear in the heart of the Dems.
If you were so concerned in attracting Democrat votes, why didn’t you draft Sanders to run as a Republican this time? Then we could win, win, win, right? All the lefties will cross over, and the true conservatives will HAVE to vote for him because he’s the “R.”
Aside from NYC and Long Island, there’s a fairly large contingent of conservatives in the state of NY...similar to Illinois or any state that is fairly rural with a few large population centers that dominate the politics. Even at that Ted is only polling at 12% there...ouch.
Interesting, isn’t it?
OK, I can see your still emotional after Ted’s schlonging Tues night...it’s OK, the sun still came up the next morning. He lived to fight another day and got the endorsement of Lindsey Graham today! He’s got that going for him!
BTTT!
Actually Trump is doing g a fine job of winning as it is...
Uh, the ORIGINAL point was that Trump was always stuck under 40%.
Truth be told, I think the “unfavorables” bit is a somewhat of a red herring. I think there are lots of people out there who would say they have a “somewhat unfavorable” or “unfavorable” view of Trump, or another candidate, but they still vote for him or her for a variety of reasons. I can understand: All these candidates have serious weaknesses.
I wonder what Reagan’s “unfavorables” were in Feb. - Mar., 1980? At that time, he had not yet won me over, due to the very biased media coverage, and my limited other exposure to him. (I was literally working like a madman, in one case 3 days straight, with no sleep.)
Also up by similar numbers in California. As there are almost no “doctrinaire conservatives” here, Cruz has no path to winning here.
32% undecided?
“Its amazing how Trump haters are so ignorant.”
They aren’t really “ignorant,” it just that they believe things that aren’t true! I believe Ronald Reagan said something to that effect about the Demoncrats!
All the numbers I’ve seen so far indicate that Trump is not attracting a larger percentage of Dems and Independents “crossing over” than occurred in previous Pub Presidential primaries. The vote is simply “up” across the board, in the Republican race.
I almost hate to refer to The Atlantic, but, this is a fairly good summary. It is what it is:

Placemark.
“Check back with me Wednesday morning. Cruz OWNED this issue before Trump came along and stole it. Arizonans know this.”
And just how is it that he OWNED this issue before Trump brought it up, when Cruz is an open-boarders “I’m going to bring my people here, and protect the one’s that have already snuck in” guy? There would be absolutely no discussion of Illegal Immigration in this election cycle absent Donald Trump, because none of the other candidates, Cruz included, know how to pick up this turd by the clean end. For them, it’s a no-win issue, so they would avoid it like the plague.
AL, MA, LA, MS, NC, MO, FL all +40%.
