Blacklisted: Drudge, Coulter, Hannity, Carson, Breitbart, O’Reilly, Christie Make GOP Smart Set’s List of ‘Ideological Hustlers’

Conservative movement professionals in Washington, D.C. are plotting to form a “blacklist” of Donald Trump supporters that they can kick out of the movement, never to return.

Several conservative talking heads and Beltway consultant types have been very angry about the rise of businessman Trump, who is pushing for American sovereignty, a reversal of neoconservative foreign policy, and competitive bidding for pharmaceuticals even though the drug companies that fund the Republican Party would take a financial hit.

So far, anti-Trump think pieces referencing William F. Buckley have been ineffective. Memes comparing Trump to Hitler haven’t worked. So these Republicans are getting more Nixon-y. They’re coming out with an Enemies List.

CNN contributor and former Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) spokeswoman Amanda Carpenter volunteered to take the lead in writing the list.

Has anyone compiled the definitive list of conservatives who should be blackballed for supporting Trump? I will if it doesn't exist.

— Amanda Carpenter (@amandacarpenter) March 16, 2016

But Carpenter, who once got called an “idiot” by Donald Trump, did not mention that she formerly defended Trump on numerous occasions. Luckily, savvy Twitter users pointed it out for her in the responses below her tweet.

Carpenter later explained the terms for inclusion on her “blacklist.”

My blacklist is limited to people who have formally endorsed Trump. Not those who simply explain the phenomenon. https://t.co/KrbutWYesO

— Amanda Carpenter (@amandacarpenter) March 17, 2016

Carpenter is not alone in calling for a blacklist. Red State contributing editor Ben Howe said that he has the resources to get a high-tech “blacklist” off the ground, as well as seed money from God knows who in the donor class.

You are such crap. 8 years ago Romney had 588 delegates. Your big mouth wasn’t crying over that. Although you should have been. Cruz would lose worse then Romney.

LOL! So your genius strategy is to award cruz and/or kasich two delegates for every three delegates that trump gets? This is brag-worthy to you? If so, then you are begging for a contested (if not brokered) convention and sadly deserve everything you are going to get. Heh! It’s *genius*!

The latest Real Clear Politics NATIONAL poll for Republican Presidential Nomination shows...

A poll conducted (3/3-3/6), before Rubio dropped out had Trump 30%, Cruz 27%, and Kasich 22%.

The latest poll, conducted 3/16-3/17 — AFTER Rubio dropped out has Trump 43%, Cruz 28%, and Kasich 21%.

Trump went up 13 points, whereas Cruz went up only 1 point and Kasich went down 1 point after Rubio dropped out.

“...Cruz and Kasich also lose over half of the delegates. So?...”

Again. I can keep explaining it to you, but I can’t understand it *FOR* you... Cruz or Kasich are beside the point, which is that trump consistently loses over half the electorate. If you have educated yourself on “contested” vs “brokered” elections, then you are smart enough to understand what that entails for all remaining candidates at the convention. If trump can’t convince over half the electorate to pledge him over half the delegates, then he is not *entitled* to the nomination. If he wants it, he has to earn it. So far, he’s *not* earning it. He’s winning primaries in a crowded field and all that will get him is a contested primary. Righteously contested too.

Huh? I have said nothing about awarding anyone anything.

Are you on an acid trip right now?

I have no problems with Trump earning his delegates. You have an asinine list of percentages that can effectively apply to all candidates, but least of all to Trump, who has won the most delegates to date. Trump is the most likely to break 1,237 of anyone running.

For anyone to get the majority in subsequent rounds, it will be against what the voters had selected, because the voters selected what was insufficient for a majority or for the proportionate vote tally that had existed.

“...You’ve never been exposed to Statistics, have you, jaydee?...”

Yes, I have. If you are thinking statistics, you are still missing the point and are not even sharp enough to stay on point — or (more likely) you are simply being intellectually dishonest. Hate spanking you in public like that, but you’re the one playing dumb. You earned it.

“...which I thankfully avoided by being in a REAL hard science...”

Which I seriously doubt. You’ve certainly not demonstrated that capacity here. You’ve given no-one *any* reason to take that seriously.

“...Good luck pushing the “ trump consistently loses over half the electorate” meme. I think the majority of those who push that stuff know nothing of the real world...”

Not a meme, fact. Measurable. Observable. Trump has consistently been rejected by over half the electorate. He can still pull it out, but it is not going to be handed to him with cruz and kasich acting as spoilers. And most of the folks who understand the difference between “contested” and “brokered” conventions are taking it darned seriously. You clearly lack the education to know the difference and when they are in play, or you would take it seriously too.

“...You are such crap. 8 years ago Romney had 588 delegates...”

Was Romney as “bi-partisanly” reviled as trump? Did Romney have two political parties aligning against him? Was the GOP burning cycles strategizing how to box Romney into a brokered convention? Apples and oranges. The two situations are not comparable in the slightest.

“...Cruz would lose worse then Romney...”

And yet Cruz polls ahead of both Clinton and Sanders while Trump is the *ONLY* candidate that polls behind them. But I’m sure you trump-pets can rationalize all manner of silliness. Go ahead.

“...Trump is the most likely to break 1,237 of anyone running...”

The odds are in his favor, but he hasn’t done it yet and now cruz and kasich are aligned. They don’t have to win — they just have to prevent trump from reaching 1237.

“...For anyone to get the majority in subsequent rounds, it will be against what the voters had selected, because the voters selected what was insufficient for a majority or for the proportionate vote tally that had existed...”

I don’t know what you were trying to say, but what you wrote is unintelligible gibberish. Bottom line - If trump is rejected by over half the electorate, he has no claim to the nomination. You can just as easily argue that *more* voters wanted someone *other* than trump. Why should he be entitled to the nomination under that circumstance? That circumstance is where “contested” and/or “brokered” conventions come into play. And if contested or brokered, all remaining candidates are in play. But you know that, right? Because you’ve taken the initiative to educate yourself about contested and brokered conventions to know the difference, right?

Yes, only the Dems are strategizing how to force trump into a brokered convention right? Tell me again how you are purportedly in a (ahem) “REAL hard science”? I’m betting your shoes have velcro laces. Heh!

You should do yourself a favor and educate yourself on “contested” and “brokered” conventions, but you won’t. I’m betting you’ll stay trump-pet level ignorant. Seriously, get an education before responding again.
