I also read some Trump delegates are receiving threats and having mortgages and bank loans called in etc by banks under pressure to ruin them

Kasich isn’t claiming to be anti establishment so it makes sense for him to follow the establishments plan. Cruz is just selfish. Honestly, does he think he’s going to win on the second ballot? Who knows but it seems unlikely. Even the Romney endorsement didn’t say he wanted Ted to be the nominee of the party. He said a vote for Cruz will help get them to the convention where they can nominate a true Republican.
