"Well, Whitewater was a disaster and everybody said that she was totally guilty of that, Trump argued. I was with a friend of mine who was very involved in that and said it was really was something that she should have paid a bigger price for.

I'm no lawyer, but I'd be surprised if this is literally true.
One the one hand, if Trump says that Hillary has sold influence, she would be unwise to sue for slander because whatever came out would make her look bad. Suing for slander is a bad idea in this case.
On the other hand, if Trump says that Hillary had served time in prison for molesting children, I think she could sue for slander and win. It's a lie. I don't believe that it is flat out not allowed for Hillary to sue for slander just because she has put herself out for approval.
Yes, Hillary is guilty. And she is a pathological liar. She has accomplished nothing noteworthy. An empty suit.
I wish. Common sense and experience tell me that they will protect her for that very reason. They all know if she goes, they go.
That is why they will do ANYTHING to stop Trump. Even murder. The stop Trump movement has already threatened the lives of his children.
Hillary cannot sue for slander. The SC ruled in the Billy Sol Estes case that if you put yourself out for approval of the public youve opened yourself up.

You are correct and Trump knows that too..
An exception was the celebrity who sued The National Enquirer and won. Carol Burnett?
“What Trump is saying might be considered close to slander. But there are a couple problems with treating it like slander:”
Yes. He knows what he’s doing. He always picks the right target. And, he sure can use the old saying “it ain’t slander if it’s true.” I know it may or may not have a big impact on the election, but just from an historical view, I would love to see him dig through some of his RE connections and come up with the goods on her.
And would incriminate most people in government positions of power, along with the CEO's of major corporations and All kinds of Wall Street Executives.
probably not as well as Mr. Trump would..
just look at the last two R candidates!
McCain spent much of his time reassuring us that we really could vote for O, that O was such a good man, and all that krap
Romney started out with an obvious winning hand.. dealt him... from 4 years of O’s Demolition Derby against America...
and what did Gov. Romney do? he retracted from even questioning O’s performance in office.... didn’t run like he wanted the job at all
Would anyone else run an effective campaign this year?
I don’t know.
Probably as you suggest (?) Mr. Trump would be the obvious candidate to do it....
someday we may learn what kind of deals were made to get McC and Romney to... imho....throw those elections?
We live in a nation where what the law ‘means’ depends on who is suing, and who is being sued.
In the case of calling her a child molester who served time in prison that would probably fall under “malice aforethought”. If Hillary could prove that then she could win. And I’m sure that would be Trump’s reason.
Trump -for all of his baggage - will be the ONLY one to actually attack Hillary’s schemes and bribery.
Yeah, for everything else, the statute of limitations applies.
This Cruzbot will comply.
No My Gyn.
Maybe Trump’s going to do her crimes in chronological order?
someday we may learn what kind of deals were made to get McC and Romney to... imho....throw those elections?
I would say that WHEN/IF we got that info all depends on who the next President is.
If you intend to read about all of Hillary’s crimes and swindles,I suggest you pack a lunch.
Sounds like a plan to me! ;-)
Or buy a pallet of MREs.
She is the classic bully; no one has stood up to her, ever. Trump is going to smack her well and good and laugh as he does it. She won’t be able to handle it and the meltdown will be epic.
She’s liable to hack up an epic furball right on the stage!
I would pay money to see that show.
