I stand corrected. Trump gets 78 delegates on Tuesday, he is 78 delegates closer to the nomination, even if Cruz picks up 20 in Utah.

Cruz went from “gonna take on that Washington cartel” to becoming GOP pretty fast. Trump made him speed up his timeline. All of this crap was supposed to happen AFTER he got the nom. I think what you're trying to say, is this:
