Cruz did not have to specifically ask. He is not stupid he knows the things Stabby says and sends him out to speak. Think any of the following by Stabby might have given Cruz pause
He hates families of 9/11 victims
He calls tea party nazis
God sent Cruz to lead us through Rapture
God let Scalia die to ensure Cruz win
Cruz fulfills the Mormon Prophesy
The list can go on, but I am sick of it.
It’s amazing how prescient Trump has been this cycle. First, he calls Bush low energy, and it comes true during the debate. I thought ‘Lying Ted’ was just a campaign tactic, but after what has happened and seeing some of his speeches, he is 100% correct on that one too.
Beck needs to go back to his hat, peer into the stones and divine a little longer.
Beck doesn’t work for Cruz. I agree Cruz should distance himself from Beck though.

Cruz will come out of this election with nothing. No Court appointment, no Executive Branch position from which to launch a future run. Nothing.

Not so fast. Ted keeps dragging him to campaign rallies and stops. If he told him to knock it off and he kept doing it, he certainly should cut him loose.

Not sure how you arrived at that conclusion. Beck is a constant travel companion that shows up at rallies with Cruz on the stage.

The time for that has passed. Cruz "owns" Beck's comments now.
For better or for worse, they are tied together.
