Donald Trump escalated his feud with Ted Cruz on Twitter Tuesday — but this time he also involved the Texas senator's wife.
The real estate mogul tweeted that the Texas senator should "be careful" or he would "spill the beans on your wife" Heidi Cruz.
"Lyin' Ted Cruz just used a picture of Melania from a G.Q. shoot in his ad. Be careful, Lyin' Ted, or I will spill the beans on your wife!," he tweeted Tuesday evening, just minutes before polls closed in Arizona. Trump tweeted and deleted a similar version of the Tweet about 10 minutes earlier.
Trump appears to be referring to a Facebook advertisement targeted to Mormons that shows Trump's wife, Melania, posing nude. That ad was produced by an anti-Trump super PAC, Make America Awesome, which has no known connection to the Cruz campaign.
Cruz responded on Twitter by saying that the ad was not from him and if he went after his wife, then Trump is a "coward."
"Pic of your wife not from us. Donald, if you try to attack Heidi, you're more of a coward than I thought. #classless," Cruz tweeted.
Heidi Cruz is a senior executive for Goldman Sachs, and took a leave from in order to help her husband's campaign. She has become one of the campaign's most accomplished fundraisers.

Sure, little lyin Ted has no knowledge of the truly classless, truly cowardly ad being run against Trumps wife.
And, he did not disavow the ad...just claims he had nothing to do with it...what a sleaze bag. He should be tarred and feathered and run out of the Republican party..he can go back to Canada, if they would have him...
It’s okay to attack Tranny Liz Mair or horrible fat Clinton because they want to cut deals with Muslims in the Caucus mountains.
It’s not okay to attack Ben Carson’s wife for how she dresses or Huckabee’s wife or Christie’s wife.
I fully expect Donald to follow up on his threat.
And why did Cruz try to scare him off? Wouldn’t “go for it Heidi is as pure as the driven snow” suffice?
Me thinks the man from Goldman Sachs dost protest too much, especially after they posted nude photos of Donald’s wife.

As Melania was in fact a supermodel, you’d expect to see pictures like this if she were in anyway successful.
The only coward so far has been Ted Cruz. He’s running a Doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde campaign. For months he played the good cop and refused to attack Trump’s positions, and now that he’s up against the wall he’s 100 percent the bad cop.
They always tie the PACS to the republican candidates but they just skate over that here. Seems to me it’s reasonable to respond to photos of your wife.

Cruz is not American like Trump is that’s why. Trump is a pro-American American like most of us Americans. Cruz was born in Canada.
