I could just as well be Clay. I’ve listened to you since Clinton won, when you gave us hope. You are dead wrong here. I too supported Cruz initially.
No sale on Cruz; you are disrespecting your audience and losing your credibility trying to sell him to us.
Rush has become an absolute embarrassment. He’s grasping at straws. I can’t believe Rush has sunk to this level.
I remember when Rush was for open borders as well, to do the work that Americans wouldn't do.

Some of the criticisms of RUSH siding with Cruz are correct. He’ll come around when Cruz loses.
Endorsements don’t mean anything?
It depends on who doing the endorsing and who is receiving the endorsement.
In the case of Cruz/Jeb, who did Cruz hire just last week? Neil Bush. Who endorses Cruz today? Jeb. There was an article on FR a couple of days ago that even W was about ready to endorse Cruz.
What is the common factor? Bush, Bush, Bush.

Some border patriots approached Rush as early as 1994 to see if he would get on board with the Prop 187 fight. He wouldn’t. He would simply repeat the Wall Street journal open borders line. For over a decade he wouldn’t take a single call on the illegal alien issue.
He was almost a different guy late last year. 180 degrees out from his old position.

Sad to say that Rush is still a useful idiot for the GOP establishment political machine. So is Cruz.

No. I’m talking specifically about their post-debate coverage, where they’d go on and on and on about Marco Rubio, and how great Marco Rubio did and... oh, stay tuned for our interview with Marco Rubio and — by the way, doesn’t he have just the CUTEST family — followed by our focus group who have unanimously picked Marco Rubio as the clear winner of the debate.
And, um, Donald Trump was also in the debate tonight, but just said the usual stuff. Now, back to Marco Rubio...
THAT’S what Fox News did, and that’s what I hear Rush doing. He’s not only ignoring the fact that vastly more Republicans have voted for a non-politician, but he pushes the only politician in the race that any of them HAVE voted for. He’s either corrupt, or blinded by his own desire to see Cruz in the White House.
