...and he was probably bullied, etc.
It was probably the clock making class that pushed him over the edge.
Recruiters recruit Chinese students at about $50K per yr to become fluent in English to both Archbishop Ryan and Bishop Egan in the Philly Archdiocese.(plus it’s probably good for their international business experience later in life) I’m not sure how much the recruiters fee is but google the Chinese students at Ryan or Egan.
Sadly when I was young in Elementary Catholic Schools, we were all Catholic (and poor) and free until high school.
Now the Catholic High School tuition is crazy high.
Raincoats? So they don’t get all bloody when they hack off heads?

Except for this jihadi suicide bomber stuff he got involved with, he was actually a good boy, fine upstanding citizen and all the rest..................

His goal wasn’t suicide; suicide was the means to achieve his goal of homicide.
NJ Catholic schools are recruiting Red Chinese from behind the Bamboo Curtain as well; purely economic, and religion probably isn’t even taught anymore. Even trafficking these Asian “replacement Americans” here, the schools are still circling the drain. My town had five Catholic grammar schools and one high school 50 years ago; despite the fact that the population is still mostly Catholic, all of them are closed.
In France the Muslims like the Catholic schools because they can’t put bags on their daughters’ heads in public schools (it is illegal); the Church actually helps them suppress their women.
