Things are a little different now. The cities need complex and fragile delivery systems to supply food, water, and power. If a central authority cannot provide the physical security to maintain these systems and feed the requisite food water and power into them, all hell will break loose.
Exactly that. Unnamed sources said Pagliano turned over logs from Hillary’s private server that would allow the FBI to determine which devices sent or received specific messages, including Hillary’s Blackberry traffic, and when.
Hillary can’t be using her secured server (logged in with her personal password, etc.) in her State Department office while she is also somewhere else using her Blackberry to send and receive messages. Hillary’s travel records, calendar, etc. can corroborate her whereabouts. Data about the location of her mobile devices, and the timing of messages sent from the DoS, could prove several things:
1) Hillary gave her extremely secret secured server password and other access info, meant for her use only, to one or more of her minions, who did not have security clearances.
2) That there was a scheme in place to take marked classified communications from the secured server using Hillary’s identity, and recreate them as unmarked communications they rebroadcast over her unsecured personal network. The timing of messages sent to Hillary would be critical in making this undeniable.
3) The information on devices, timing, and locations of devices and messages could reveal gaps in the records Hillary turned over, that yoga classes and daughter’s wedding can’t explain away.
4) The information on devices, timing, and locations of devices and messages can be compared to timing and content of classified communications sent within the DoS secured system to prove who was involved. Hypothetical scenario: Classified Message arrives at Hillary’s DoS secured server at x time and date, about subject y. Soon thereafter, traffic goes from the Hillary minions at DoS to Hillary’s private server, thence to unsecured Blackberry or perhaps to other recipients. But no documents were turned over by Hillary that fit this time frame. Hmm...
5) Potentially, it could prove she took her Blackberry into the DoS SCIF.
6) Potentially it could show that “trusted staffers” were sending the messages to Hillary and also to themselves or others, with or without H’s knowledge. What did they receive and who all did they share it with?
This is all speculation on my part. The worse the reality, the less likely we are to ever hear the truth about it.

OK, now I understand. Thanks for the explanation. Obviously the logs could be altered but that would be a huge task given the sheer volume of communications. Hackers, however, could cover their tracks by altering these logs, no?
Changing the logs is conceivable. Reports imply Pagliano turned over printed material, but when it was originally printed, and from what source (the server directly? Remotely? Thumbdrive?), remains unsaid. If the logs disagree with what the FBI recovers, P. could have made the changes, or someone else. P. is hiding behind an immunity deal; I doubt that HE changed the docs, since that would set him up for charges of violating his deal, obstruction of justice, etc. I doubt any hacking was at work here, but once caught, Hillary will claim they must have, since she can do no wrong.
