I bet you don’t even realize that this refers to the Old Testament way for a father to prove his daughter’s virginity so that the son-in-law couldn’t just divorce her, claiming unfaithfulness. The father was to keep the sheets from the marriage bed in order to prove that his daughter was pure when she married, in the event that he tried using her and throwing her aside..
But then, if you guys can’t even read an article and comprehend what it says, I don’t hold out much hope for Biblical literacy.

On this Good Friday I realize again what a wonder it is that the Lord of all Creation chose to hang on a cross and be mocked by evil idiots, in order to save this pathetic human race. The only hope is the One who gave the sacrifice necessary to satisfy the justice we all deserve for our pathetic stinkiness. That He would love those mocking the very love that is the only light in this dark world... is love beyond what I can fathom.

I should have expected you to misunderstand what I said. I never compared Cruz to Jesus. I was commenting on the ugliness of mankind and on what a wonder that Jesus loves idiots like all of us and even died for us while we are idiots who mock everything that matters.

I have no idea whether Cruz did what he is accused of doing. All I can do is wait for more evidence. If he did these things I will be very grieved but I won’t have any rocks to throw, because - unlike Trump who has never needed forgiveness from God for anything in his life - I am a sinner whose only hope is Jesus, and very few genuine Christians have lived the perfect life necessary to be able to cast the first stone. The older and wiser of the Pharisees were the first to drop their stones because they knew the shame they would face if their life became an open book.
But the folks on this thread are already sure they know the whole story - and are eager to think that he’s gay, engages in bestiality, etc. Read Romans 1:28-32 and tell me how this crew here - in the attitudes of their hearts - any different than the Romans that Paul described as being depraved. Here’s the passage:

Ben CArson did better than the polls said he would do. That was given as the reason to think there was voter fraud in Utah...
I have asked people to show me the exact words that either Cruz or his campaign used that were factually incorrect in IA. Nobody has been willing or able to give me the words. They know he did not lie. He cited a CNN report that truthfully said that Carson would not be campaigning in NH or SC. And Carson didn’t.
Yet the claim keeps being said here. IOW, YOU are the one lying for your own purposes.
The first to attack Carson was NOT Cruz or Rubio. It was TRUMP who said Carson was like a child molester. And the National Enquirer reported on what a bad doctor Carson was - leaving all kinds of things inside his patients during surgery. I guess that’s why he’s been so honored as a physician... He minimized Carly Fiorina by saying she was ugly. Notice that is his defense of Melania. She’s one of the “beautiful people” so that’s all that matters. The guy has the depth of a spoon. A one-trick pony: when somebody threatens your position, call them a name or throw your power in their face.
He said that the military WOULD obey even unlawful orders, if he was President. Or what? That was my sister’s question; her son (my godson) is an officer in the USMC and her husband is a retired Navy pilot/officer who is in the reserves now. Trump’s boast is that he would be able to force our troops to break the law. What kind of power would he use to pry these men from their honor and their oath?

Cruz didn’t denounce the Iowa lie, did he? Not at the time. He only apologize later, at a debate on television. Pure politics. Person did not except his apology either. And Carson has ended up on Trump side, which means all of your posting on and on about Trump and Carson means nothing. The 2 have a good relationship.
Cruz is the dirty politician. There is more evidence every day, but you’re too blinded to see. You’re holier-than-thou candidate is being exposed for what he is.
