We found the Cleveland Police Patrolmen's Association president is concerned about what he said officers have heard from federal officials about staffing. "The citys numbers arent jiving with what the FEMA instructors are telling them we need for this, and theyre the guys that go and train for this," CPPA President Steve Loomis said. Its absolutely the citys responsibility to make us as safe as possible.
But privately, those close to the security organizing are not worried. In fact, theyre confident security plans are coming together and staffing shouldnt be an issue.

Recall delegates can’t take weapons into any of the venues!
There is actually an open petition started for open carry! LOL
It should be held on an island somewhere.
keep a big perimeter, don’t let anyone access without credentials, haul anyone away who starts any crap
The big question is whether or not Kasich will prep the National Guard before any trouble starts. I have a feeling he won’t because it will make him look too aggressive, and if or when trouble starts, he’ll be too late with help
I would guarantee it. He is being backed by Soros. How much you want to bet he’s got a deal with Soros to let the city riot or burn?
Ain’t that terrible to think of my own Governor? As Grania said in another post, Mayor Frank Jackson hasn’t been all that bad for a democrat, but one never knows what the backdoor deals are especially considering the concerns the police of hinting at already.
That's one reason I applaud Frank Jackson. Cleveland police were ready for the rumored expectation of protestors. Cleveland can do it, but not with a whole lot of folks seeing benefit in things getting out of hand.
Ohio is also an open carry state.
But open carry is limited by location. That is, the venue is private and has posted off limits to guns. Which is why there is a petition to allow guns in the venue.
Importantly, John Kasich is the current governor of Ohio, so is being asked to change the venue rules. This puts him on the spot, as he is hoping against hope that he will be the dark horse nominee at the convention, if Trump and Cruz reach an impasse. But allowing the banning of guns might kill even that faint hope.
I will be in S.Carolina during this week. I want no part of these a-holes. Heck if I could rent my house out to some DC staffer for the week for 4k all the better but I will take my silverware and my valuables...
