We already see the result in Syria. Putin stepped in to do the job the U.S. should be doing. Obama is supporting the jihadis, I get it, but a President Trump would need to reverse the current trend, not allow the power vacuum to continue.
It is still a very important part of the world economically and strategically. Russia is not doing this because they are nice. Putin is ruthless and this gives him a military presence in the area that can spread to other countries.
If we move out, Russia and China will move in - no question about it.

The U.S. gives money freely.. then steps in at strategic points and manipulates the situation under the guise of being a "friend."
In many cases, a "friend" is the last thing we are.
