Asked by talk-radio host Michael Savage if it’s at all possible that someone from his campaign staff was responsible for the National Enquirer story claiming Ted Cruz had five mistresses, GOP presidential primary front-runner Donald Trump insisted his camp is clean.
Donald Trump (Courtesy Michael Vadon) “No, it’s not possible,” Trump said. “In fact, two articles were written today, or yesterday, by not-lovers of Trump, the Daily Beast – whatever that may be – and another one, a respected journalist, that said Marco Rubio has been peddling this story for a long time.”
Trump, a regular guest on “The Savage Nation,” was invited to come on the show after Savage warned Friday that he might withdraw his support of the real-estate billionaire’s White House bid if he did not denounce the National Enquirer story.
“I never heard about this story, and frankly I had absolutely nothing to do with the National Enquirer putting the story in,” Trump told Savage Monday.

Pretty much - when both the leading candidates act like emo kids on a playground this is what you get. I am disgusted with both of them, but I will vote for whomever has the best chance of defeating Hillary because she is the biggest threat. I am starting to lose confidence that we will beat her. The rat machine will produce at least 40% so the margin is small. The more people I hear who say “I won’t vote for him” about Cruz or Trump the more worried I am.
They could have taken the high road, but once again the candidates allowed the nasty overpaid political class to tell them “this is what you must do to win” and here we are - firmly stuck in the mud and on the pages of the National Enquirer.

I agree with you 100%. If we lose to Hillary it will be because of the way people on the right, and the candidates, have conducted themselves. I will vote for anybody but Clinton. But only Hillary Clinton wins when Conservatives, GOPe, Cruz supporters and Trump supporters act like this.Cruz is no saint, but a lot of the Trump supporters are off putting and abrasive. Things that they would have said disqualified a candidate 4 years ago is now completely overlooked. We will not win a general election like this.

In case you had not heard, Roger Stone does not work for Donald Trump. As a matter of fact, Donald Trump fired Roger Stone from the Presidential campaign way back in August because “Roger wanted to use the campaign for his own personal publicity” according to Trump.

You mean like the issue of the Wisconsin sanctuary cities ban bill that Scott Walker ordered killed in the Senate, or the matricula consular ban he won't sign? Since Walker is about to endorse Reverend Ted, shouldn't #DaddyCruz renounce such an endorsement from a La Raza Republican like Walker?

It's not that he gets a free pass, but that he isn't portraying himself as some holier than thou Christian. The press has always loved to reveal moral hypocrisy all across the political spectrum (see Gary Hart, John Edwards, Cong. Livingstone, etc).
Cruz supporters are a sad lot to behold these days. They’re already working their way toward the excuse making for when Cruz FINALLY admits that he’s broken his vows.
LYING Ted is well know for lies.
They lie and then play victim. Cruz is a terrible joke.
Unfortunately for them many of us are capable of thinking for ourselves.
Guilty people accuse others as opposed to sue. Hell, Cruz is an attorney. If it is false how come he has done zip?
