This is such a repeat of 2008, when we had another narcissistic empty suit tickling the ears of fools. He told them what they wanted to hear. He became everything and anything they wanted to imagine he was. He will part the seas, give everyone free housing, college, phones, food. He was the greatest, the smartest, the bravest, the toughest.

There is no such thing as “true conservative.” The word has lost all meaning, just as the term “racist” has. Everyone thinks they are the most conservative - even Jeb Bush, who, by the way - has endorsed Ted Cruz. Some p;eople are so pathetic.
Trump has committed on paper to a tax proposal that will save people more money than Cruz’s tax proposal.
Trump is misunderstood. He’s just saying, ‘“We’re going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.”
Thus states another Cruz org that btw just hired that pantheon of Trump objectivity and the ever excruciatingly hot Miss Fields partner in crime...

When a patient has arterial bleeding, that’s the first thing you address. The patient may also have hepatitis, bad breath, and the heartbreak of psoriasis, but all that means nothing if you don’t get the arterial bleeding under control.
We must first save our republic; then we can take on the less immediate problems.
That is how a thinking conservative can support Trump. Only he will keep our republic alive, because only he is more concerned with that than with his own career and wealth.

I did a "thing" for about a year and a half on state budget numbers. One of the things that makes it hard to understand is that states HAVE to balance their budgets, by law.
They can't just write rubber checks, like the federal government.
Both the Democrat & Republican parties in the states thus get "creative" with the numbers and the spin.
Let me ask all you “pure” conservatives something.
You like driving on interstate highways?
You want our military to have the finest equipment?
You want our police to be properly armed and trained?
If not for taxes, who’s going to pay for the above?
Yes, there is lots of waste in the government. But there are some things the private sector cannot, or should not, administer or run.
