Donald handled the obnoxious matthews very well, with the exception of not punching him in his weasly face.

When will our candidates answer hypotheticals with their own hypothetical, “i will do everything right”... Works every time.

However the goal has to be overturning Roe v. Wade and returning the right to the states.

Not necessary. All that has to be done is to pass a law removing the jurisdiction of the federal courts over state laws regarding abortion. This can be done with Republican control of Congress and the presidency. There is no need for it to be overturned in the Supreme Court.

By the way, this same tactic can be used to remove the jurisdiction of the federal courts over state laws regarding marriage.

one of the difficulties with prosecuting abortion is that there is such a thing as a miscarriage, which can happen due to no fault at all to the mother (or father for that matter). My oldest was a twin. However, during the pregnancy, her twin miscarried. We didn’t really know why, as there was no previous indications of problems that would have alerted us to anything going on. She went on to be born a normal (or at least as normal as anyone related to me can be) baby girl. In our case, it was pretty obvious that the Lord simply decided one at a time was enough for us, but that is not always the case. Do you really want someone to be prosecuted over something that is already as tragic as a miscarriage because there is no proof that it was naturally occuring?

“Hypothetically, if abortion were illegal, then, yes, there should be punishment for the woman, and also the accomplice - (doctor) “

(As I posted yesterday) you have it backwards, the doctor commits the murder, the pregnant woman is the accessory (accomplice).

Look at it as a “murder for hire”, because that is just what it is.

I’ve heard that argument often. I think the premise requires likening an executive to a local hardware shop owner. It’s not valid.

Ever watch shows like shark tank? You don’t make it big, much less huge, unless you handle political situations well.
