Except that the Democrat ticket is Biden/Warren, chosen six months ago. Hillary is of no significance except to the FBI and the Grand Jury.

Fracture vs. Scratch, agreed. I think we can perceive the reason; today’s Democrat Party is just slightly to the right of Mao in his heyday.
But, didn’t the Chicoms enter into a quite serious internal putsch that ended in show trials and executions, remember the “Gang of Four”? “We will crush their pig heads!” The capitalist roaders won that one.
There may be a scratch on the surface, but don’t doubt that there is an internal fault line that runs deep and wide. Hillary is counting on her Wall Street and billionaire backers to prevent the doctrinaire ideological socialist and his cadre from winning. Will Bernie take that lying down, when Hillary has been the one doing almost all the lying? We may all be surprised. We will see.
