Normally, I would not care, but Dunham tried to ruin a man's life by falsely portraying him as a rapist in her book. He asked her to retract her statements. Dunham refused. Only when he got lawyers involved did her publisher finally issue a statement clearing him.

Her show, Girls, has lost most of its audience, so this sounds like a desperate attempt to attract viewers.
Makes me think of that scene in “Jaws” in which Roy Scheider and the others discover the remains of that woman who was the first victim of the shark at the beginning of the movie (if my memory serves me correctly, even the Scheider character tossed his lunch after seeing the gruesome remains).
I’ll bet that the camera lens had to be burned and replaced after each take.

NO! She did not flash her ‘vagina”! The area visible is anatomically called the “vulva”. It is impossible to see a woman’s vagina without spreading open the lips of the vulva.
