I support Trump but don’t see myself as a victim of anything.

I admire Trump’s willingness to state the obvious that no one else dares speak re illegal immigration, about Islamic terrorism, about the corrupt Republicans and Democrats. There’s definitely something to be said for being very, very wealthy and not having to give a flying fig what anyone else thinks or says about you, about not being beholden in any shape, manner or form to the political elites. I must say, I love it!

It bothers me not that he’s not a ‘pure conservative.’ I’d rather an effective ‘mostly conservative’ to an ineffective ‘pure conservative.’ That’s any day of the week!

Trump supporters also seem to have something else in common, as I argued in a recent column -- a lack of social connectedness. They are less likely than average to be active in voluntary associations and in churches, in community activities and in extended families.

Such a pantload! Many Trump supporters here on FR have identified themselves as Christians, church-goers, spouses and/or parents and educated. There are many with advanced degrees who support Trump, in SPITE of the marxist environment of university education. The proof is at the rallies and will be also at the ballot box.

Even if Trump had ONLY uneducated or working-class supporters, yet he has a majority of voters, do these sneering pundits think those people don't matter, or don't deserve a shot at representation for their interests?

My Christian surname is the same as Uriah’s (my college nickname was “Uriah”).

People who disagree with my opinions sometimes try to get my goat by making snide innuendoes on the basis of my user name. Little do they know, that's not my name!

Trump voters like myself are not victims but we can see becoming victims in the near future if there is no one with balls enough to keep defending our constitutional rights. With the GayStopo, MMGW Nuts, Surrender to Islam Freaks, BLM idiots all in full bloom as of late, yes we can see ourselves becoming victims if Trump (or Cruz) is not elected this year. After that you can forget about free speech and free thought and having some free change in your pocket!
