There was no news conference, there were no tweets. There was no steak, no wine, no bottled water.
And then, on what had been perhaps the quietest primary night of Donald J. Trump’s political career, there came an email flash. Just like that, “Lyin’ Ted” and the “Trojan horse” were back.
“Campaign statement,” read the email from Mr. Trump’s spokeswoman, Hope Hicks, delivered first to The Washington Post and then to others upon request.

It’s much better to have the polite, measured Presidential demeanor of a Mitt Romney or John McCain as they get bitch slapped by the Democratic nominee.
I am increasingly convinced that a sizeable slice of Americans would now rather politely accept the chains than be so rude or brash as to put up a fight.
Give me an jerk who stops the Muslim influx over a Presidential panderer any day.
This is the nonsense which is going to be Trump’s undoing.
What is he? 10? Show a little class and maturity.

If he is this thin skinned about losing a smaller state primary, what is he going to do when Putin does something that offends him? Nuke Russia and say “he started it”?
I wanted so much to support him, but he just can’t help himself. It is to the point it is truly scary.

Calling someone else a liar in the middle of a tirad of unsubstantiated claims against them is a bit ironic.
Trump seems prone to conspiracy theories, too.
yesterday afternoon, I saw Ted Cruz outside a polling place in Duluth telling voters that Ben Carson is going to drop out of the race. He’ll stop at nothing!
“Hey... Who got his ass kicked last night?”
“Trump got his ass kicked last night”
Five minutes later... “Hey... Who got his ass kicked last night?”
“Trump got his ass kicked last night”
Five minutes later... “Hey,... Who got his ass kicked last night?”
“I keep telling you, Trump got his ass kicked last night. Don’t you remember?”
“Yeah... But I just like hearing you say it!”
Lying Ted’s new nickname, Trojan Horse. Love it. Trump’s ready to kick a$$.
Trump is kicking his own ass. It was his to win, instead he talking his way to losing. It is not Ted’s fault Trump says stupid things.
Further proof, as if we need it, that money does not buy class or wisdom.
I can make a Twitter account and call it whatever I like and post whatever I like. What I’m saying the Trump people can’t be that stupid to post anything like that on Twitter unless they’re nuts.

It sounded like someone just replayed what Charles Krauthamer said on Fox about Trump’s showing in Wisconsin.

That statement is the real nonsense.
I’d been surprised it Trump had won any counties at all. Everything and everybody is throwing every negative day and night at him. Hours and hours of talk shows against him, pages and pages of articles against him, ad after ad against him. Could you imagine if there were none or say just half of theses negatives? Wondering what the outcome would be. I’d say in spite of all that he’s holding his own.
Isn't it about time Cruz started talking about his track record with global trade and bringing Visa workers into the US?
He didn't understand Wisconsin and didn't care to - they love Scott Walker and Trump trash-talked him - not smart.
He doesn’t need to!
He is a cog in the Gope machine, and realizes that all he has to do is subordinate himself to it and let the machine do the work for him. He is just a warm body that the Gope can play off of.
Notice how none of his supporters even care about issues anymore. It’s all about what delegate can they steal or what Gope guy can they parrot in their talking points.
But PAC money can buy candidates and elections.
It will be heart wrenching for all of the Cruz supporters who believed that Ted was the anointed one. I willna vote for the Democrat or GOPe globalist!
There is a profound reason why Phyllis, Sarah, Sheriff Joe, Franklin and Jeff endorsed Trump.
This election is about allegiance to the United States. Make no mistake.
Do you folks think for one hot minute that if it were Jeb in Trumps position that the GOPe would allow Kasich to stay in? That they would have allowed Cruz to stay in? Fools!
Here is me with a foreshadowing when your delusions about Cruz crash & burn: I told you so.
He or his campaign, states the truth rather bluntly, and I’m sure that will bother some people.
If Cruz was subjected to the full weight of what was arrayed against Trump, he would have finished in last place.
