That's possible but I'd rather support a bona fide conservative than a NY pseudo-conservative just because he makes a lot of grandiose promises that anybody that's been following politics for more than a week knows that he won't/can't keep.

True but I think part of Trump's Southern success was the crowded field and the novelty of a politically incorrect politician. Us Southerners are notoriously politically incorrect.

What puzzles me about his Southern success is that a lot of Southerners are still suspicious of yankees, especially NYC yankees. I'll have to ponder that..........

If anyone should have won the South it was Cruz, but he failed.

He is going to lose in the NE badly and by the end of the month his only goal will be to have a convention fight.
