because its not true, hes AN advisory not the top one. And only fools try to negotiate a deal with no knowledge of the other side.
Haas is a big wheel, and people feel compelled to listen to him. But there is no indication whatsoever that Trump is relying on him or that he is part of the Trump team.
But the odds are that Haas or someone like him will be adviser to a Trump Administration. There aren’t many non-kook alternatives, especially for an executive who relies on those ‘most qualified’.
