Law enforcement responded to Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas on Friday on reports of an active shooter.
The Bexar County Sheriff posted on Twitter about the reports at 9:50 a.m., ET.

About 25 minutes later, the same account said officials were working to clear the base's buildings.

Soon after, the Sheriff's account said "we have victims" at the still active scene.

I would rather have them carrying weapons than providing them with designated “Shelter in Place” locations, as I saw at Dover AFB a couple of years ago.
The seemed to me something seriously wrong with members of the military running to a bathroom and hiding in it because someone had a gun.
And this poor ‘victim’ is marginalized and upset because of the crusades back in the 1200’s.
He’s such a wicked, awful president, it still simply boggles my mind.

Individual competition and shows are the most amazing spectacle to behold...I did drum and bugle corps in Brooklyn before entering the Air Force.
I was a snare drummer with Our Lady of Perpetual Help Ridgemen (Chuck Connors was an alumni) and I marched proudly in parades on 5th Avenue.
My drumming turned to jazz and rock after I got out of the Air Force. But I still love the sight and sound of a well-oiled, precision drum and bugle corps. I take it you are also in the know? Were you part of the drum and bugle scene?
