This may be the beginning of the GOPe co-opt of Trump. No wonder he bunkered down for a few days while he worked over his options. Without Cruz’s attempt to steal the nominate Trump could have walked into the General without owing the GOPe anything. Sad.

The ground game is stupid and needs to be done away with.

But what’s good for the goose is good for the gander, so I’m glad Trump is engaged.

The GOP better hope Trump wins outright, because if they steal the nomination from Trump, there’s no point in voting republican any more. They don’t walk the talk, and you can’t vote in someone who will.

Looks like Cruz may be odd man out. Don’t be sad.

You can still follow his deminished career in the Senate.

I have to admit i’m nervous that Trump and Kasich boxed Cruz out of 1.4% of the rules commitee......a perfect example of big brain power!

That’s true. I guess trump will have to evaluate which is more important. I also wonder if Rubio could bring a few percent of Hispanics to trump. A long road ahead yet.

Michigan Cruz leader Saul Anuzis said they were "double-crossed"

You poor poor poor little baby. it's not fair when the other team realizes how you play and starts playing by the your rules.

Ted’s giving third place victory speech? Or is it fourth behind Little Marco?

“This may be the beginning of the GOPe co-opt of Trump.”

Who is the GOPe of which you speak?

Names, please. I’m not being confrontational. Just curious.

It does make sense. Why would Kasich help Cruz get a second-round victory? Better to destroy Cruz and assume that Trump wouldn't want to be president more than four years. If Cruz is destroyed he brings along a lot of folks with him who've taken off their masks.

Can this get any weirder??

Kasich’s delegates could throw Trump over the top. He might want veep.

That is what I have been thinking lately! We need Ohio to win and a Trump-Kasich tandem could put Trump over the top and leave Cruz for the SCOTUS for which he is better suited.

“Both Trump and Kasich are close friends to Newt Gingrich. He IMO is the wizard behind the curtain.”

Wow, I knew Trump was being advised by Gingrich, but didn’t know he also had ties to Kasich.

That’s good news. I like Gingrich, I voted for Gingrich, Gingrich knows how to defeat democrats.

Has Cruz won all the Colorado delegates yet? Or is that process completed tonight?

I see Cali going the same way. All this hype about Cruz as being the ‘master’ wrangler of delegates is now been proven to be wholly absurd.
