Cruz is still waiting for Trump to Debate on O'Reilly
Fox News | April 10, 2016 | Ralph Mitchell

Posted on 04/10/2016 12:34:59 PM PDT by mitchell001

On last Thursday's O'Reilly Factor, Ted Cruz and Bill O'Reilly both said that Donald Trump does not want to debate Ted Cruz on the Factor. O'Reilly is still trying to get the debate scheduled. Also, O'Reilly said that Donald was mad at O'Reilly. If Trump wants to be the best GOP nominee, shouldn't he go up against Cruz so as to sharpen his debating skills and knowledge for a future Hillary debate?

How is he going to humiliate Hillary? By insulting her?

I find it hard to believe O’Reilly would really say that. I mean, that’s stupid, even for Bill to assert. Bill knows Trump has already debated Cruz 15 times, and Cruz just wants the opportunity to spray 15 lies in 2 minutes live on television, knowing that whatever format Fox uses, Trump won’t be able to refute all of them.

STFU Teddy.

Trump would be stupid to subject himself to Cruz in any one on one format. Still Cruz should taunt him into taking it “Like a man.”

Here Cruz has the upper hand...that doesn't mean Trump has any less knowledge than Cruz, if fact Trump may possess a broader range but Cruz has the silver tongue of a brilliant lawyer something Trump has little of.

(where they stand on the issues)

Hillary and Sanders have another CNN debate this coming Thursday. It is very telling that Trump is afraid to debate Cruz any more. Now, when the states have to decide between Cruz and Trump is when we need more debating and clarifying their policy positions. For example, I would like to hear more about Trump charging other countries for the use of our military for protection.

Leaders don’t debate.

Only lawyers debate.

Hillary and Sanders have another CNN debate this coming Thursday.

The Republicans have had more debates than the Democrats by a very large margin.

It is very telling that Trump is afraid to debate Cruz any more.

It is perfectly obvious even to Cruz supporters that Cruz just wants an opportunity to unleash 15 lies in 2 minutes. You can't seriously believe that would be a debate.

Leaders needed to demonstrate a depth of knowledge and a character and interest in obtaining knowledge. Bravado only goes so far.

Never going to happen...

Trumps a smart man, why would he debate Cruz and have no chance of winning...

Cruz is a highly skilled debater and Trump would have no chance in a normal debate format..

Trump can't even articulate his own position and policies in a friendly environment very well...

I'm not knocking Trump, he simply doesn't have the skills set to win...

He has strengths in other areas...

Maybe Cruz will explain to Trump how each snitched delegate will translate to thousands of votes per delegate in the general.

Or not.

Cruz's ego is turning his campaign into a kamikaze mission to hand the White House and the Supreme Court to the Democrats, when 2016 could have been a cakewalk for the Republican Party.

For sure O’Reilly and Fox News has his PowerPoint Presentation ready for Trump to respond to as Cruz stands there unexpected to answer for his hypocrisy and double talk.

Trump should have avoided those debates once the Primaries actually began. All of the Polls indicated that Trump won yet the media ramped up their criticisms and continues to do so.

“Only lawyers debate.”

They could hold it in Boston. Call it “The Mass Debate.”
